My fave goofy love letter to the slasher genre opens this Thursday!! Comment what niche Seattle archetype you wanna see me play this season?!
(Over enthusiastic bird guide? Bumbling Sound Transit Board member? Jaded Non-binary barista?) Tell me your ideas here AND bring them to the show!!

I’m inviting YOU to grab tickets to this hilarious, heart-filled, and sometimes scary or….sexy (?) @jetcityimprov Halloween tradition!!😈🔪

About the show:
Audience suggestions prompt the characters, improvisers inhabit them for 90 minutes! Players secretly draw roles for victim, survivor and slasher so they’re JUST as surprised as the audience to see who will make it out alive……👀 taken in West of Lenin by @tendrilizer

Sean Salcido captured my freaky little jester moves and I’m not gonna stay quiet about it!! So honored they asked me to pose for this highly saturated, fruity summer shoot!🥰🌸

Also, I must brag that I did in fact sew both the bloomers and this jester cap! (and I am known to do commissions for the right price or trade😜)

Sean is not on the gram (bless their mind) but find more of their work at seansalcido.com👀

And of course, the necklace was a birthday gift from the fabulous @matchstickscraft by @tendrilizer

OW SHARP! 🤪👯‍♂️🔪

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of reviving the clown act I wrote for @theensemble show, Scrambling the Goose! All the love to @amberrose2 for working so closely with me on this one, it’s my first and favorite clown routine and holds such a special place for me

In honor of @alanah_del_ray asking me to bring it to the waterfront for Tita Ester’s Party at @pfptheatre here’s the original production photos from the amazing Sean Salcido, plus a sneak peak selfie with @jellicletrash who donned the spikes and created a new ending with me in Amber’s place!! Will be sharing videos soon👀 by @tendrilizer

A show that’s changed my life is closing this weekend!
💀🔪🩸
Two years ago, I was in the audience at an Emerald City Slasher show. I was dazzled by the form, by the ensemble and their memorable characters/ story arcs, and by the crew improvising eerie sound/ light cues.

What a gift it’s been to become part of this show’s history, with this specific group of people! Since we started rehearsing in August, my improv and performance skills have grown tremendously.

I’ve had an incredible time creating worlds of connected characters, the silliest bits imaginable, and horrifying deaths with this group of folks that I’d now trust with my life- well maybe with ending my life (onstage, in a very fantastical way). Big love to everyone I’ve gotten to prov with or be supported by during this show!😈👻

Come celebrate closing with us this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm at West of Lenin! (There’s still pay what you can tickets for Halloween night and regular priced tickets for Friday/ Saturday)

Year THREE seeing Ginger Root in Seattle! So grateful Audrey brought me to the show that fateful December in 2022: that concert was my introduction to their music!! The artistry and worldbuilding and silliness of this band is what makes it one of my favorite groups making music right now.
Everyone should have the pleasure of experiencing a Ginger Root concert.🎥🌟📺🥰 by @tendrilizer
