40 Years of @tequilasphilly: Past, Present, Future 🇲🇽

When @davidsurop opened Tequilas in September 1986, his mission was to bring a fuller expression of Mexican food and culture to Philadelphia. But this clip is just one small part of the Suro family story…

40 years later, Tequilas’ influence has grown far beyond its Locust Street home and remains part of the evolving story of Mexican food in Philly—thanks to longtime staff and David’s three children @dan_suro @_elisa_suro_ @dave_suro_jr who all have carved their own paths back to the family business and are now helping shape what comes next…most recently with the debut of @lajefaphilly.

Here’s a peek at the past, present, & future of Tequilas, as the Philadelphia Mexican restaurant celebrates its 40th anniversary.

Watch the full documentary by @alishainthebiz @stereoflavors on YouTube or at the link in bio.
