Tiki Harawira takes us back to Te Whare Tapa Whā, the Māori model of health built on four pillars.

Taha Hinengaro, the mind
Taha Wairua, the spirit
Taha Whānau, family and community
Taha Tinana, the physical

In te ao Māori, all four are connected and all four need to be strong.

Tiki explains why he puts so much focus on taha tinana. It isn't that the other pillars matter less. Taha tinana is where we can start right now. Walking. Eating whole foods. Cutting out the rubbish. Getting outside. Less screen time. Simple, actionable, measurable.

In his words, a fit body brings a sharp mind, a sharp mind brings a full heart and a strong wairua, and when we're at our best, our whānau thrive too.
