I’ve been a little MIA. When your livelihood is literally falling apart, it can be difficult to function—let alone keep up with everyone’s messages.

But through all of this, one thing has been very clear: we have some truly amazing clients who have our backs. Even when we—okay, I, not Sonia 😂—have been terrible about responding.

And a special thank you to Teri for updating me this morning on the progress of my own salon. 😂 Apparently, my clients are now keeping me informed!

But finally… there is light at the end of the tunnel. Things are moving forward, and after months of uncertainty, that feels incredibly good to say.

Rest in peace my favorite nephew! Thank you for your loyal guardianship & being such a faith companion. I know how much you hated fireworks buddy but thank you for protecting & loving me unconditionally. It was hard when Gram & Nama Banana 🍌 split ten years ago. Then Uncle Shawn who trained you as a young lil pup! Then five years ago nephews Tyler & JJ went to heaven when Covid hit. That’s when you started taking Tyler’s spot on the couch. That’s when I knew that dogs were truly man’s best friend. every day looking out the window waiting for Tyler’s bus to bring him home. Now you’re there with your big brother resting comfortably watching from above protecting our house! Thank you good boy 💋 Our house grew up with so many nieces and nephews! It was challenging dynamics and thru all the years maybe our chain of communication broken within the family. But you Spartan, you were well behaved and mannered and enjoyed running with all the kiddos thru our neighborhood! You were transparent and brought peace with great love to all of us! remember when we’d run thru the neighborhood to play hide and go. Do you remember good boy how we’d run the hills, get our paws and toes into the salt water and run intervals on the sand! Fast and strong you were a gifted breed for sure! . These tears stream with peace & grace knowing how much love flows thru your mighty heart! I’m sure there will be waves to surf without you near or hear your fierce bark. but from above I will look up to you and all our angels to the clouds or with waves.
