Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday. 39 isn’t too bad. I am as strong or stronger than I have ever been. I probably need to run more, but that’s neither here nor there. Heath is wealth, and I’m just trying to stay rich! I appreciate all of the well wishes - my only request is that you encourage someone today. The world needs more kindness, more friendship. So call a family member, call a friend, do something nice for a stranger. You’ll be happy you did. Much love and respect.
PS enjoy this video of me squatting 315x5 and Terrin’s belly saying hello. Thanks Warren for filming ♥️ by @terminally_chill

If nothing else, this Russian invasion of Ukraine should show everyone (regardless of political views) how important it is to be able use a weapon. I have no problem admitting I have been complacent in this area- I used to train much more often. I have become less proficient. I have already recognized that and made a change, and I encourage all of you to do the same. Being proficient with a firearm/weapons manipulation is a perishable skill. Start training, or start training again. Seek knowledge from those who know more than you. Become armed and dangerous. Oh, and don’t forget medical. #armedanddangerous #responsiblecitizen by @terminally_chill

This team. As a kid growing up in Macon I got to see many young Braves on their way up to the majors. Luther Williams Field was very familiar to me. I got to go to many Atlanta games as well- in Fulton County and Turner Field. I was a TBS kid, my whole family diehard Braves fans. My grandma watched the entire postseason from her living room, same as she has done for decades. I remember the 95 World Series, but as a kid I didn’t appreciate it or understand fully the work it takes to win it, to earn it. As an adult getting to watch this team has been a highlight of my sports life, culminating in last nights World Series win. The story is the best part: a team below .500 at the all star break, everyone counted us out, all the injuries(Acuna, Ozuna, Soroka), making it past Milwaukee’s brutal pitching rotation, having a roster that was 130 million lower than LA, being the underdog to Houston and the list goes on. The odds were against us. Only the second team ever to win the WS below 500 at the all star break. They believed in each other and battled the whole way, and no one is more deserving. I’m on cloud nine, forever choppin’. My heart is full. @zackspurlock you ready to touch up this @braves tattoo? It deserves it. #braves #battle #fortheA #foreverchoppin #tomahawkchop #bravescountry by @terminally_chill

“Yeah, I love me some California
But it sure ain't Tennessee
And my roots down there in Georgia
Yeah, they started missin' me
And I wouldn't change the things I've done
Or the places that I've been
Man, it feels good to be country again”

I have had a few days to process it, and I am still in awe of how amazing this past weekend was. I will make a separate @furnacefest post shortly, but I wanted to make this one first. This band means so much to me, and to be able to watch them play this past weekend was incredible. Rituals of Life was an album that truly changed my life (thanks @williamestessc). I am so thankful that I was able to play a small part in this bands history and I don’t ever take that for granted. These guys took a chance on a young punk rock kid with hopes and dreams and I was able to travel the world. I won’t ever be able to put into words how grateful I am for that. To Chris, David, Scott, Jeremy and John: I am so grateful to know you. You guys have made a positive impact on my life and many others, and I hope this past weekend that sentiment resonated. Seeing your families enjoy it just made it that much more special. Thank you, thank you, thank you. My heart is so full. Much love and much respect. 🙏🏼♥️ “I don’t know if you will ever know how much this means to me, so let me take this opportunity to say thank you for what you’ve given to me. There’s no telling how long things will ever last, let’s not forget the memories of our past.” Swipe right to see proof that I am not a guitar player. Video by @joshjamesxxx and @theadamhussler
