Thank you to everyone who joined us Friday night at the International Museum of Surgical Science for three world premieres! Our program featured Carlos Bandera’s “and from the lake, the brittle waters,” Alexa Rinn’s “Murmuring Diffraction,” and Michael Hersch’s “Philomela Fragments,” with soprano Ah Young Hong. We’re grateful for all the support our project has received, including support from New Music USA’s Creator Fund. Stay tuned for recordings of Carlos and Alexa’s duos. We’ll next perform “Philomela Fragments” with Ah Young Hong on December 5 in Baltimore as part of “The Roaring Tides: Greek Tragedy in Image and Sound.” @sasha.ishov @yagerwill @terns_duo @ahyounghongsop @surgicalmuseumchicago @alexa_e_rinn @carlos.bandera.music @newmusicchicago @newmusicusa by @terns_duo
