You check ingredients. You check labels. You know what’s in your food.

But…

Do you know what’s in your coffee?

Terra Lava is third-party tested for mold, mycotoxins, glyphosate and heavy metals — not detected within testing limits.

Grown on volcanic soil in Turrialba, Costa Rica, with no chemical inputs for 50+ years.

Most people store coffee on the counter. Here’s why that’s costing you flavor.

Once a bag is opened, heat, light, and air start degrading the beans immediately. The freezer slows that down and if you’re not flying through a bag in a few days, it makes a real difference.

A few simple rules:
→ Store the open bag in the freezer
→ Only grind what you’re about to brew
→ Ground coffee oxidizes fast — don’t grind ahead

Small habit. Better cup, every time. by @terralavacoffee

Most people never think twice about their coffee. I used to be the same, until I realized I was drinking 2–3 cups every single day.

Something you consume daily compounds your exposure to whatever’s in it. And coffee happens to be one of the most contaminated crops on the planet, pesticides, mold, mycotoxins, glyphosate. Even “organic” doesn’t solve the mold problem.

We looked but we couldn’t find anything clean enough. So we made it ourselves.

The connection came through family, a friend of my wife’s family in Costa Rica, growing coffee on volcanic soil that hasn’t seen a single chemical input in over 50 years. We tried it and it was extraordinary.

That’s Terra Lava.

Third-party tested. Farm-direct. Nothing added, nothing hidden.

There's coffee you drink to get through the morning.

And there's coffee you actually look forward to. ☕

The difference isn't the price. It's knowing where it came from. Who grew it. What's in it. Why it tastes the way it does.

One family farm. Turrialba volcano, Costa Rica. Hand-picked at peak ripeness. Sun-dried on raised patios. Small-batch roasted.

Third-party tested by SGS — 193 substances. Not detected.

You already know the difference. You've always known.

Before the notifications. Before the calendar. Before anyone needs anything from you.

There's a window — maybe fifteen minutes — that belongs entirely to you.

The water heating. The beans grinding. The smell before the first sip.
That ritual deserves to be clean. Not because of fear — because of what you've decided to build your days around.

Terra Lava. Single-origin. Volcanic soil. Third-party tested. $0.74 a cup.

☕ Some things are worth getting right from the beginning.

You track your macros. You read ingredient labels. You switched to filtered water and clean meat. You know exactly what's in your supplements.

But this morning you made a cup of coffee without thinking twice.

Most coffee is never tested. Not for mold. Not for mycotoxins. Not for glyphosate. Not for heavy metals. The brands don't test because they don't have to — and most people never ask.

We asked. Couldn't get straight answers from anyone. So we built our own.

Terra Lava is grown on one family farm in Costa Rica — volcanic soil, no agrochemicals, third-party tested by SGS for 193 substances.
Not detected across the board.

Your morning routine deserves the same standard as everything else you put in your body.

There's a version of you that compromises on coffee because "it's just coffee."

And there's a version of you that doesn't.

You already know which one you are.

Terra Lava. Pure coffee. Pura Vida. ☕🇨🇷

🇨🇷 In 2020, three women — Kika, Isabel, and Viviana — planted one hectare of coffee on land that had never been touched by agrochemicals.

They weren't trying to build a brand. They were trying to grow coffee the right way.

No synthetic pesticides. No chemical fertilizers. Hand-picked at peak ripeness. Sun-dried on raised patios. Roasted in small batches.

The land was already clean. They kept it that way.

That's the farm behind every bag of Terra Lava. One hectare. One metric ton per year. Turrialba volcano, Costa Rica, 1,300 meters above sea level.

We found them. We tested the coffee. We didn't change anything about how they grow it.

Some things don't need fixing.
