I've went viral a couple of times, but this was the first time I ever went viral over 12 years ago. You may have seen this meme or a version of it floating around the internet over the past decade...and if you didn't know this is indeed me. This meme came from my VERY FIRST short film I ever wrote, directed, and acted in. This was for a class project from my first year in college at UIW. The assignment was to find a social issue and create a media project about it. Our group wanted to tackle domestic violence and I wanted to make a movie so we created a Domestic Violence PSA. Now this film has accumulated over 2 MILLION views on YT (and who knows how many views on the different memes). Just letting yall know...me being in front of and behind the camera isn't anything new. I been doing this over a decade now but feel I need to remind folks and also introduce myself to those who may not know.
PS....I DO NOT BEAT WOMEN OR ADVOCATE BEATING WOMEN.
I feel I need to add that disclaimer cause some of yall not smart enough to distinguish the creator from the character. 😂🤣

I absolutely love when I get to combine all the things Im passionate about. My love for Filmmaking and Golf have come together.

S/O to @trjacksn @par365golf and @golfparables for inviting me out to be the cameraman for the @twincitiesgolf Creator Cup Invitational at the @troyburnegolfclub Being out there really inspired me to start the Golf channel that I have been wanting to launch. Maybe next year I will actually be playing in the tournament. But for now I'm just happy to be out there. Ya'll make sure to check out the recap video and if you are ever in the Twin Cities, go check out PAR365golf.

I'm taking an indefinite hiatus from comedy and June 19th at Bull's Bierhaus will be the finale.
*Long Post Warning*

I've been doing comedy close to a decade now and I think at this point I've might have lost the passion for it. Early in my career I would anticipate every show, spend time writing and crafting jokes, light up when I hit the stage, then go hard to find or create the next opportunity to perform.

Now, I'm at the point where I don't get the same spark. Haven't written anything new, avoiding the open mics and phoning in my paid performances and leaving the stage feeling drained instead of rejuvenated. Not to say I'm not still getting laughs but the external validation is less important to me than the internal resonance I'm starting to feel.

I truly believe my gift and purpose in life is to use my storytelling ability to make a difference in the world, whether that be with filmmaking, music, comedy or whatever creative medium that I can convey a message that's entertaining yet thought provoking.

My goal now is to take a step back from comedy and get back in my filmmaker bag as I feel the camera calling me back like crack was calling Pookie in New Jack City. Maybe one day I'll get the itch again to stand on that stage, but until then come out to my last performance where I plan to give you EVERYTHING I have left in my comedic gas tank. taken in Bull's Bierhaus by @terrybluez254
