I’ve earned six figures in corporate America more than once, but there’s something different about earning it through something God allowed me to build with my own hands. It humbles me every single time.

I’m beyond grateful to be a two year, six figure Tax Office Owner. This journey has taught me that praying, staying true to yourself, operating with integrity & genuinely serving your clients will always pay off. God honors obedience.

If there’s one thing I hope people take from my story, it’s this: believe in yourself, even when no one else does. Bet on yourself. Take the risk. Start the business. Trust the vision God gave you. There will be hard days, setbacks, and moments where you question everything but don’t quit. Keep showing up!!!!

What makes me the proudest isn’t just the income it’s knowing I’ve been able to help so many women build businesses, create additional streams of income & believe in themselves, all while navigating my own battles behind the scenes. Life hasn’t been easy, but God has remained faithful through it all.
I know this is only the beginning. I truly believe God is preparing me for seven figures and beyond, along with opportunities and blessings I can’t even imagine yet. My job is simply to keep seeking Him, trusting His timing, and staying faithful over what He’s already placed in my hands.

Thank you God, for every lesson, every closed door, every client, every partnership, every tear & every victory. None of this would be possible without you & to anyone chasing a dream: don’t let fear convince you to live beneath your potential. Pray, work, stay consistent, and never stop believing in yourself. What’s meant for you will never miss you 🤍 #IamOneOfTheElites 🏆 by @teyonce103

I didn’t plan for this chapter. But God did🤍

I’ve experienced a kind of grief that changed me forever & somehow, in the middle of loss, God reminded me that there was still purpose in me.

I’m still a woman of faith.
Still a mother.
Still building.
Still dreaming.
Still becoming.

And this season isn’t just about telling my story. It’s about creating a space for women who are building businesses, raising families, navigating loss, chasing purpose, and choosing to believe that there is still more.

This is Chapter 1.

If you’re building your next chapter too, stay awhile. 🤎

Meet Tianna Merritt | CEO and founder of Blessed Tax Return, a Black woman owned virtual tax firm serving clients in all 50 states.

After building a successful career in corporate America, I stepped out on faith and launched my own tax business. In just two tax seasons, I’ve built a six-figure tax office, helped thousands of clients maximize their refunds, and mentored aspiring tax professionals into building businesses of their own.

At Blessed Tax Return, we believe tax preparation is about more than filing returns it’s about educating our community, creating wealth, and helping people build financial freedom.

I’m also passionate about helping others create additional income through the tax industry. If you’ve ever wanted to own a tax business, add another stream of income, or learn a high-income skill, I’m currently accepting new Tax Partners. No experience is required we provide the training, mentorship, software guidance, and ongoing support you need to succeed.

Whether you’re looking for a trusted tax professional or you’re ready to become your own boss, I’d love to connect.

Let’s build wealth together.

Vulnerable grieving moment🥺🪽

This happened a few weeks ago& honestly, I was apprehensive about sharing it. But I’m learning that my vulnerability is helping myself and other women/moms navigate life after loss, so here we are🤍

I donated nearly 100 bags of breast milk to a mama whose baby depends on donor milk. I pumped every 3 hours faithfully for my baby, never imagining God would use that milk to nourish another child instead.
This was one of the hardest yet most beautiful moments of my healing journey. Through my grief, God continues to show me that Jiya’s life, love, and impact still matter. I cried, I prayed, and I thanked Him for allowing me to be a blessing even in my pain.

If sharing my journey helps even one grieving mother feel seen, then it’s worth it🤍🪽🙏🏽 by @teyonce103

Healing is teaching me to slow down, trust God deeper, and fall back in love with my life again. I’m building my business, protecting my peace, trusting God, and becoming the woman I prayed to be. Learning that real love, peace, and purpose all grow where God is present.

As a walking testimony, I also want to help other women step into their next level. My mentorship is officially open for women ready to build their own tax business, create financial freedom, and become their own Tax Boss. The sky is truly the limit for us 🙏🏽🤍 by @teyonce103
