Exhibition - Closed

The gallery will operate under a new schedule.
Our new opening hours are:
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday
2:00 PM – 7:00 PM

For visits on other days, please contact us in advance!

The exhibition showcases the artist’s latest series of paintings, which serve as a form of self-reflection, both on the inner world and current events.

The theme of being on the edge is one of the key elements of this series, navigating the space between transition and permanence, figuration and abstraction, image and negative.

The exhibition space is specific, and its significance has changed notably in the context of current events. Initially, the concept of the exhibition was to illustrate a form of isolation. Today, however, the viewer enters a space where they must view the works through the prism of bars, adding an additional layer of meaning and distance to the experience.

An unseen fragment from the archives

Today, we constantly question whether a video is real or an AI-generated deepfake. However, in reality, fabrication is embedded in the very genetic code of video. Before AI became so widespread, our trust in the medium of video was extremely high.

The goal was to show how easily social media and news coverage can manipulate our perception of disasters, turning information into a highly visual, menacing, yet entirely fake spectacle.

At the time, this artwork was entirely hand-made, both the physical scale model and the video itself. by @tezigabunia
