If you’ve spent time with me, it’s well known that guiding athletes to become the best version of themselves is my top priority. That’s why I’m excited to announce that I’ll be utilizing the @bridgeathletic app as a mobile training platform for athletes/clients effective immediately. This comprehensive training tool allows me to provide periodized programming directly to the athlete and guide them to their goals in a convenient way year round.

I’m very excited for this new training method as it will broaden the scope and allow me to reach more of you through each period of the athletic year. Anyone can benefit from this whether you train in-person, at-home or the school weight-room. However I also see this being a useful tool for in-season athletes, adults, and athletes that can not come to regularly scheduled training at our location. Either way this is a great opportunity.

35 Spots are open to start! If you’re interested, sign up below and dm me for further details! Whose locked in?

Athletic success requires SACRIFICE & DISCIPLINE.

Sometimes that means choosing the healthy food option, sometimes that means going to practice instead of the social gathering, and sometimes that means getting up early to get your training session in.

SLS Athletes have the opportunity to make that sacrifice every Tuesday & Thursday from 7:15 A.M. - 8:15 A.M. at Morning Strength Sessions with yours truly. We bring the energy every time!

GET UP | GET TO WORK | GET BETTER 💪🏾📈

Athletic Performance is centered around concept’s of Strength, Speed & Power.

As Performance Coaches it’s essential that we Test ➡️ Teach ➡️ Train these concepts and repeat the process over time to develop a complete athlete.

Here are 4 simple performance assessments we use to track Speed & Power over time.

1. Broad Jump (Double | Single Leg Variations)

2. Vertical Jump (Double | Single Leg Variations)

3. 10 Yard Dash

4. Pro Agility | 5-10-5

Give them a try!

FAST FRIDAY 🏃🏼‍♀️ 💨

Youth Speed Training is about hitting all the basics. Flashy drills are fun to watch but if an athlete can’t move properly, it won’t help them get better . Youth athletes should always build a strong foundation first.

Optimal performance in Basketball is built on attributes such as speed, power, & quickness. However, Basketball is also extremely physically demanding, and hoopers need STRENGTH. Thats why 🏀 athletes should be in the weight-room as much as any athlete.

Phase 1, Week 2 started this week. Rather than just load up the bar, we’ve been focused on eccentrics, isometrics, and owning athletic movements. The focus is to increase joint integrity and durability, while building strength through movements. This also builds a strong protection against wear and tear.

If you hoop and you’re not in the gym right now, you’re putting yourself at a huge disadvantage. Get right now to be ready when it matters!

FAST FRIDAY coming at ya this week with an
🚨ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT🚨 @reagan.adiletta

Reagan came to me this summer looking to get faster, more explosive, and improve her athleticism. She crushed the training cycle doing just that, correcting some movement patterns, and improving both power and speed metrics. We were so locked in we didn’t get many clips of our work together, but she brought the intensity every session.

Excited to see Reagan be a FORCE on the base paths next spring. Its only the beginning, more work to come.

Baseball Athlete Upper Body Strength Complex;

A1. Neutral Grip DB Bench
A2. Pendlay Rows
A3. Inverted Rows (Reverse Grip)

Here’s a solid push/pull complex that adds a safe press variation when throwing intensity is elevated, while promoting free scapular range of motion. A strong back leads to healthy shoulders. What we do now leads to our success later.

Strong Varsity Programs are backed by good JV programs. It’s important that JV athletes are ready to fill the Varsity role when their number is called. We trained @slsboysjvsoccer through In-Season programming all week. Keep the foundation strong and the future is bright.
