huge shoutout to the music and drama company for having me back on to sing this, it is always such an honour to be making music with you all ❤️ this performance was arranged and choreographed by these talented folks!! all credits to them & special shout out to sakura who sounded beautiful on violin 🎻 please catch her full solo on my tiktok (instagram didnt let me post the entire video omg)

🌧️ for every drop of rain that falls, a flower grows

singing in NDP 2026 has been such a surreal experience :") being a part of this reminds me of how imperative it is that we stand together and embrace one another's humanness. it is also so moving to see how art can bring everyone together in this way!

thank you to the @musicanddramacompany for having me be a part of this. thank you to lu, eri, izzy, aaron, jonas, azri, bob, alan, khim, sky shen, joakim, the mdc dancers ann, afiq, cosmas, our NSF minders jacob & terence, sarah, the mic-up team & everyone else that i have had the privilege of working with & of meeting across the months of rehearsals !

i hope our island home will keep blooming, 61 years and beyond 🌷

such an honour to be a recipient of the NAC-UAS Arts Scholarship for my undergrad studies in music business at LASALLE📚

thank you to the National Arts Council Singapore & the University of the Arts Singapore for your support and belief in me @nacsingapore @uas.sg @lasallesingapore

i would also like to thank my family, friends, my manager ashwin and my music & instrument teachers: ms gayle sim, mr aaron lum, mr toh ban sheng, ms christina zhou, mr daniel fong and so many others along the way who have poured so much of themselves into me and believed in me ! i would not be here without the support and guidance that i have been so lucky to have received throughout my journey ❤️

with the aid of this scholarship, i hope to give back to the arts and culture scene as best as i can and to strive to make art that is inspired and moving :)

love,
தார்மின் / thaarmin
