For the best views, head up to one of Bangkok’s many iconic rooftop bars. Here are some of the most well-known but pricey spots - all of which provide stellar 360 views of the Bangkok skyline:

@skybarbangkok at Lebua State Tower, Silom: one of the most iconic in the city, famed from the notorious Hangover films, offering direct views of the Chao Phraya River.

@octave_rooftop at the Marriott Sukhumvit: Multi-level setting with glass panels in the vivid Thonglor located right near the BTS.

@vertigobangkok at Banyan Tree: once a helicopter deck, now a open-air floating bar with uniquely themed cocktails on the 61st floor’s outdoor terrace.

So what’s your favorite rooftop bar and should we post it? Let us know! 😊 by @thailandagain

5:30–6:30 PM 🌃 Yaowarat Chinatown — Neon signs, Thai-Chinese noodles, seafood & desserts. Nearest useful MRT: Wat Mangkon.
