Raesaka is one of the kindest little soul I know. Sometimes I question myself what I did right in this life to deserve him as my son. I received so many award letters this year (7th so far), but the last slide is the most rewarding for me personally. Thank you, Mas! I love you!

RYUTAKA 100%

Beberapa hari yang lalu berkesempatan untuk bertemu 100an teman-teman lama dan baru berkat kekuatan gotong royongnya Tante Gita..

Super happy karena akhirnya teman-teman yang cuma bisa ketemu lewat layar saja.. akhirnya bisa bertemu langsung bukan di Jakarta, tapi Singapura..

Yang membekas selain berjejaringnya, dan terutama juga karena pertama kali bisa dinas plus wisata berdua Mama Ita sejak kami jadi orang tua' adalah banyak sekali yang bertanya tentang kabar terbaru Ryutaka..

Ya teman-teman ini sebagian adalah orang-orang yang sama yang mengirimkan pesan, doa dan dukungan 4 bulan lalu.. yang buat kami rasanya kejadiannya seperti baru kemarin, dan juga sekaligus terasa seolah-olah seperti kejadian yang sudah lama sekali berlalu..

Terima kasih semua doa dan dukungannya.. alhamdulillah Ryutaka pulih 100% dan semakin hari semakin sehat..cuma belum bisa bilang namanya aja.. lol.. maaf ga semua bisa diupdate langsung, doakan supaya tetap dan selalu sehat dan bahagia bersama mas Raesaka.. amin..

I'm sorry, loves. I'm powerless to create a world without war, poverty, carbon, and waste during my time.

I've been quiet on social media lately, not because I'm swamped with work, but because it feels wrong to celebrate Eid when so many families are living in fear and despair. My heart goes out to all those affected by the ongoing atrocities..

To be honest, you guys are the only reasons I'm keeping my sanity among all this chaotic, evil world. Thank you..

But today I saw a cartoon that remind me as a parent it is my job to protect your childhood not only from the meaningless war and the evil oppression, but also from my own negativity..

I might be powerless to ensure the future for our children, but I can at least prepare our children for the future..

So let's have fun as much as we can, learn about the world but most importantly about ourselves, and remember that we love you no matter what..

Happy our day my first mate! @thalisop terima kasih sudah menjadi nakama paling sabar, setia, pengertian, yang selalu memberikan kepercayaan penuh dalam setiap keputusan yang kuambil dalam urusan hidup, bisnis, dan keluarga..

Maap kadonya cuma dipitain pake tisu, buru-buru pas anak-anak udah tidur.. yang penting niatnya ya ma.. Makasih udah nemenin bahas game, manga, filem, musik, makanan, rencana-rencana.. makasih masih selalu semangat dan excited tiap dadakan diajak kencan, meeting keuangan, bahkan sekedar cuma pagi-pagi diajak jalan sekitar perumahan..

Makasih udah percaya kalau kita suatu hari nanti akan menemukan one piece kita sendiri.. dan makasih udah mau temani aku sampe pulau terakhir nanti..

And finally selected as the only Indonesian Company out of 12 Start ups selected by @eria_org for @sushitechtokyo_esg (Tokyo)

Yet the best achievement for us is Ryutaka finally being able to run again yesterday.

RYUTAKA TURNING 2 - and what January 2026 taught me..

Dear Ryutaka,

Happy belated birthday, my love
January 2026 is a month I will always remember because of you, and what we went through..

Your name is Ryutaka 竜高, which means “rising dragon.” A dragon is not only a symbol of strength, but also of wisdom, protection, and resilience. To elevate means to rise—especially after facing difficulty.

This pass two weeks, you showed me what real strength looks like—not the loud kind, but the quiet, brave kind. Even when your body felt tired and unfamiliar, you kept smiling, you kept trying, and you kept being you. I watched you walk forward again, one small step at a time, and my heart learned a new meaning of YOUR NAME. a meaning of courage.

I finally found the strength to write to you tonight, because tomorrow Papa will be leaving for almost two weeks on a business trip to Kuala Lumpur for the JETRO final pitching and latwr oversee our new facility in Bali. Leaving you, even for a short while, is never easy—especially after everything we’ve been through together this month.

I want you to know something important.Since you were born you really elevated our family just like your name, Papa won 14 awards since we had you. Yet, no matter how many awards Papa may win, no matter how far my work takes me, none of it means anything if I cannot be there to support you. Being your Papa will always be my greatest responsibility and my greatest pride.

RAESAKA 7TH!

Mas Raesaka 7 tahun 7 hari yang lalu.. Papa dan Mama jam segini lagi kontrol ke Opa Dr. Udin.. papa bilang, dok boleh ga ketemu Raesaka besok.. karena mama sudah lewat masa 9 bulan 10 harinya.. tapi mas belum mau lahir-lahir juga. akhirnya dokter bilang boleh.. besok kita operasi supaya bisa ketemu mas.. 3 januari 2019 mas lahir, papa ga ikut masuk, karena papa pengen mama ditemenin eyang mama yang lebih ahli dan pengalaman dan dokter juga.. jadi papa tunggu diluar sambil kira-kira kaya gimana ya bentuknya raesaka.. setelah dipanggil, papa buka pintu dan lihat ada bayi pipi chubby khas keluarga akung dan mata besar khas keluarga eyang.. dan papa langsung bilang ke suster.. ini pasti anak saya ya..!!!

Setelah itu papa inget mas susah mimik, papa mama yang belum pernah jadi orang tua tiap malam begadang.. suapin asi ke mas.. satu-satu waktu itu rasanya sengsara sekalian seneng banget tiap mas kedengeran suara teguknya.. papa inget mama kecapean dan papa bilang mama tidur aja, terus papa peluk mas sambil nangis di sofa.. (kita berdua sama-sama nangis haha) sampai hari ini papa rasa belum pernah papa seputus asa itu dalam hidup.. semua proyek-proyek, kerjaan-kerjaan ga ada yang bikin papa patah semangat kay waktu itu.. karena bingung, namanya juga barunjadi orang tua.. semua udah dikasih tapi mas masih nangis.. akhirnya papa doa dan minta.. isma tidur ya..(nama bayinya mas raesaka) trus mas ga berapa lama bobo di perut papa.. papa masih ingat betapa leganya papa.. dan betapa hebatnya kekuatan doa..

Mama dan papa berdoa semoga mas tetap senang membaca dan belajar, selalu bahagia, sehat, dan berkah umurnya.. papa mau terima kasih 7 tahun ini sudah jadi big buddynya papa dan mama.. mas anak yang sangat pintar, sabar, bijak, baik hatinya, dan sangat lembut.. mama dan papa belajar banyak dari mas.. tahun ini papa mau apresiasi raesaka yang konsisten mau jadi ilmuwan, akademis, dan peneliti.. semoga mama dan papa punya cukup umur untuk menemani langkah mas sampai mas punya keluarga kecil sendiri yang akan selalu mendukung, menemani dan mencintai mas.. seperti mas ke mama, papa dan ade ryutaka.. selamat ulang tahun sayang.. #raesaka #iamyourfather by @thalisop

Finally forty..

My sons,
One day you might ask why your father was always busy building things that didn’t yet exist. Why I chose a harder road, why I talked so much about waste, materials, people, and the future.. both of you..

I didn’t build Parongpong RAW Lab because I wanted a company.
I built it because I was afraid of leaving nothing meaningful behind.

I saw a world producing faster than it could heal. Mountains cut down, oceans filled with things we used once and forgot. I saw people—especially communities near coasts and villages—doing their best to survive, yet being blamed for a problem they didn’t create. I couldn’t unsee it.

Parongpong was born from a simple belief: waste is not the end of a story—it’s the beginning of a better one.
If humans created the problem, humans must also create the solution.

Parongpong is about responsibility.
Responsibility to nature.
Responsibility to people.
And responsibility to you..

Every night I try my best not because I want to live forever, but because I want you to inherit a world that is more honest than the one I received. A world where making money does not mean destroying something else. A world where dignity, creativity, and care can exist together.

There will be days when Parongpong looks like a failure. Days when the numbers don’t work, when people don’t understand, when the road feels lonely. But remember this: legacy is not built in comfort—it is built in conviction.

You don’t have to continue Parongpong when you grow up.
You don’t have to work in sustainability or design or business.

But I hope you carry this lesson with you:
Whatever you build, build it so it makes the world a little better for those who come after you.

If one day you stand on a beach that is cleaner, in a city that is fairer, in a society that respects both people and planet—and you know your father tried to help make that possible—then Parongpong has already succeeded.
