Get ready with me for a shift at the ski resort urgent care. If you didn’t know, now you do, that this is a pretty sweet side gig that I have in addition to working my full time job as a psych PA.
Working the ski resort urgent care as a provider, I get to go out and ski with a radio, and get called down if there’s an injury needing to be seen.
We might not get paid much, but we sure have a fun time.

Happy PA Week!

Although there were so many more little details that went into the process of becoming a PA (other jobs held in college, capstone project, moving across the country…), here’s a little highlight of the big picture that got me here, and also as a psychiatric specialized PA.

Two new colors, one incredibly important cause. 💗✨🥊

Breast cancer awareness is a cause near and dear to my heart. It feels almost impossible to know someone who hasn’t been affected by breast cancer in some way—whether personally, through a loved one, a friend, or someone in their community.

So I’m especially grateful for @wearfigs to continue shining a little more light on this cause with these two new colors for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 💗

A reminder that awareness matters, support matters, screening and early imaging matters, and every little bit can make a difference.
