😉 Because Moms always know best…

I graduated from ASU with a journalism degree and a lot of question marks.

Print media was fading, online media was up and coming, I already worked in a real estate office and my mom said,
“you should get your real estate license.”

So I did.
And now I get to help people chase their dreams, work alongside family, and call some of my best friends my coworkers.

Turns out she was right (again).

🌊 Cannon Beach isn’t done yet…

A Tapestry Collection by Hilton is proposed right next to the surf lagoon in Mesa. 🌴

What the plans filed with the City of Mesa show:
✔️ Five stories
✔️ Around 150 rooms
✔️ A signature restaurant
✔️ An outdoor pool

It’s still working through city permits and a second hotel, an Aloft by Marriott, is also planned.

I’ve lived in Gilbert since 1998 and watched this corner of the East Valley go from open desert to surf lagoon. 🏄‍♀️

I’ve been a Phoenix area agent for 18 years. Here are 3 things I no longer do 👇

I no longer save the hard conversations for later. The price talk is uncomfortable for ten minutes on the first call, and it saves everyone holding costs and days on market.

I no longer answer “is now a good time to buy?” with a yes or no. Markets are hyper-local and a lot of times neighborhood specific. Hire someone who knows your area and how to study your specific property’s market trends.

I no longer apologize for my commission. An agent who negotiates badly on their own behalf is showing you exactly how they negotiate. I welcome the opportunity to prove value throughout the transaction.

I had a lot of misconceptions about real estate 18 years ago. 👇

I thought the job was pretty houses.
Perfect kitchens. Happy closings...

Here's what I no longer believe as a Gilbert Realtor:

❌ Every deal is the same.
The contracts match. The transactions never do.

❌ Finding the right house is the hardest part.

Accepted offer to closing table is where deals get done.

❌ I'd learn the best neighborhoods once.

I've been in Gilbert since 1998. The Phoenix area keeps changing, and I'm still learning.

❌ I should have every answer on the spot.

Knowing exactly who to call beats guessing.

❌ Experience means no more surprises.

It means I don't panic when they show up.
