A #newsletter about writers’ desks and their #writing habits by @yessicaklein

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My plan with #thatpoetrything was always to approach other ways in which poetic language (and the ~poetic itself) can develop across different mediums. That is: happy to introduce @danielle.yukari as one of the first visual artists featured here ✨🩵 by @thatpoetrything

Random desk from my inspo folder — not sure if that chair would be comfortable enough to write for a few hours, though

We got featured in That Poetry Thing @thatpoetrything — a newsletter (and soon-to-be podcast) by the wonderful @yessicaklein that explores how writers write.

We talked about our favourite words and Späti-Shops, dream writing locations, what our desks look like (or don’t), and the habits that shape our writing — when no one’s watching, or when we’re not at a Späti organising a reading.

That Poetry Thing is run by Yessica Klein, a poet based in Berlin with an MA in Creative Writing from Kingston University. Her writing has appeared in Magnum Photos, Polaroid Originals, The Moth, 3:AM, and more — and we were glad to welcome her as part of our reading series.
