The Mission~
Holistically support girls and women in baseball

The wonderful part of supporting any mission holistically is taking a multifaceted approach to embracing the community.

That’s A Girl Baseball Initiative is headed to Atlanta, Georgia this weekend in a collaboration with Synchronicity Theatre to support their production of “Catching The Moon” the Toni Stone story. Thanks to the generous sponsorships and donations of many we are able to supply copies of the children’s book for a giveaway this Saturday Feb. 28th 4:30 show.

Children’s literature and the arts are just two more ways to further educate and embrace our ever growing community. by @thatsagirlbaseball

“Yes, that’s a girl.”

And she belongs on the field.

We’re proud to partner with thatsagirlbaseball, founded by Grace Murray to expand visibility, access, and opportunity for girls who love the game. From clinics to mentorship, their work builds skill, confidence, and community — on and off the diamond.

That same spirit lives at the heart of Catching the Moon, the true story of Toni Stone — a girl who refused to let anyone decide where she could or couldn’t play.

Join us at our 4:30 performance on 2/28 for T.A.G.’s free book giveaway — or catch the show anytime during the run.

Bring your team. Bring your daughters. Bring the whole crew.

🎟️ Tickets are on sale now.

ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 28th, TAG is proud to collaborate with Synchronicity Theater in their upcoming musical, Catching The Moon.

We will be attending the performance of the musical and giving away copies of the book, Catching the Moon— a beautiful companion to the stage story celebrating girls who chased baseball dreams. (While Supplies Last)

Adapted from the book by Crystal Hubbard, Catching the Moon, a blues-infused musical, tells the spirited story of a young Black girl who grew up to become “Toni Stone,” the first woman to play for an all-male professional baseball team.
