So grateful for this brave, joy seeking human. D does not waste time sleeping or eating, they are relentless in their persuit of a good time. It can be a scary world for a 13 year old queer non-binary kid, but thank god they have an armor of confidence, and a deep squad to shield them from ignorance. taken in Portland, Oregon by @thatsprettycoolman

A little late to announce this, but I will be performing in The Play that Goes Wrong at Seattle Rep opening Sep 3rd with a simply amazing cast: Ashley Song, Darius Pierce, Chip Sherman (!), Setareki Wainiqolo, Cassi Kohl (!), Philip Guevara, Ashley Lanyon, Ian Bond and Darragh Kennan. Directed by Damaso Rodriguez.

This play is so funny, and these people are so talented, kind and drama free. All hard work and no complaining! What a delight!

Spring Break! The Oregon Coast is a magical place with a kid. So grateful to get out of town for a few days with Daphne and spread their infectious joy. 10 years old may still seem young, but every day is a new moment in D's rapidly changing reality. I say this all the time, but I am so grateful to be here for all these moments. There is so much I already miss about young D that may never come back. But the joy of the present is too powerful to linger in wistful nostalgia. And the glipses of Daphne's future self make me happy beyond words. Every day is so completely full with this child. Quick weekend trip to see my love @margotbordelon open The Brightest Thing in the World (Seen at PCS JAW this year!) at Yale Rep. I've never been to Connecticut before, and it was a beautiful place. It was like a fancy Boston with just as many racists, hahaha just kidding (not really). Another stolen trip to NYC to see my ❤️ Margot. She opened Peerless at 59e59 and it slapped fire (is that a thing?)

Then we weee lucky enough to attend the opening night of 1776 at the gorgeous American Airlines Theater.

We carved pumpkins (one was rotten, like full of diarrhea soup) and we were almost killed by this giant bird.
