POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Our little Mila started 5th grade today! Don’t worry... I only cried a little when I took her pics this morning and then a little more when I walked her to classroom and then I let the rest out when I was making this. If y’all see me this year, I will take all the hugs. Years of lasts just hit different. #firstdayofschool #firstday #backtoschool #toocoolforschool #barbiegirl #nevergrowup #lastfirstday #lastfirstdayofschool #fifthgrade #tbt #throwback #flashbacks #dontyouevergrowup #imnotcrying #imnotcryingyourecrying by @the.eclectic.abode

I'd love if my kitchen actually looked like this right now, but we just finished making pasta for dinner and up next is cookies and Jiffy Pop for movie night with the girls 💗 we're settling in for Home Alone 2 because I'm a 90s kids who loves 90s movies. Enjoy your evening, friends 🎄❤️✌🏼

But if you could fight, if you could choose
If you could say all the things you wanted to
If you couldn't lie
If you would only move like you had something to lose
If you could cry, if you couldn't sleep it off
If you could feel everything you've ever caused
If you couldn't lie
If you would only move like you had something to lose
Like you had something to lose

My favorite view in the whole house- except for my bed in T minus 3 hours. Is it bedtime yet? I need some kitten snuggles and my pillow 😴

Does anyone else use a bullet journal?
This thing has been a life saver here lately. I started it September 1st, and it is the perfect journal, jotterdowner, calendar, planner, and tracker of everything I try to keep track of. Mostly because it combines my secret type A personality need to have control over absolutely every detail with my constant empty hollow feeling need to be creative and put something on paper. Because I'm just a messy complex of needs apparently. This is my November cover page, but this month has just about flown by. I mean after Thanksgiving, it's basically over, right? Anyways... on to my December spread. Check my stories later to see how it comes together! by @the.eclectic.abode

Is it weird I've kept this pillow out all year? It's just one of those things I never want to put away. People visit cabins year round right? .

Can we just talk about how happy I am not to be hosting Thanksgiving this year? That's right. All of my pretty little dishes and napkins will stay tucked away in their cabinets while we hang out at my parents' home all day. Yes, that just makes me endlessly happy 👏🏼🤣🦃

We've taken some time off from home projects, but we're getting ready to add hardware to these cabinets, and I can't wait to share the update 👏🏼

Happy Fall a month late in my typical fashion! I've missed being on here, so I just wanted to pop in and say hello!

This Bexley Boys @bexleyslc sign in my house makes me smile every time I look at it. Why? Well not only is it going to be a gift for my dad this summer. But it also reminds me of all the opportunities I've had in my life to practice the art of giving. Giving without receiving anything in return. Giving without expecting anything in return. Giving time without compensation, because that's the best gift you can ever receive.
