Before starting my business, I spent almost 10 years supporting leadership teams in fast-paced environments. That experience taught me that great support isn't just about completing tasks. It's about thinking ahead, staying organised, and creating systems that help a business run better.

Before The Executive Edit, there was hospitality, long shifts, learning how to anticipate needs, stay organised under pressure, and support people properly — even when things moved fast.

From there, I moved into serviced offices, growing through different roles and gaining a deep understanding of how businesses operate behind the scenes — from client experience to daily operations.

Later, working as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant in a startup environment brought everything together. Supporting leaders closely showed me how much clarity, structure, and reliable support impact the way a business runs.

Every role shaped how I work today.

The Executive Edit wasn’t created overnight — it’s built on years of hands-on experience, from front-of-house service to executive-level support.

I used to think being more organised would mean having less to do.

I’m not sure I believe that anymore.

As a business grows, there will naturally be more to manage. More clients, more conversations, more decisions and more moving pieces.

The difference is whether all of that growth creates momentum or chaos.

The past few weeks have been a good reminder of why I care so much about systems, structure and proactive support.

They make it possible to handle more without everything becoming harder to run.

And that’s exactly the kind of growth I want to build, for myself and for the businesses I support.

August looked productive.

And it was.

I kept showing up here, supporting my clients and moving projects forward.

But behind the scenes, I also did something I've struggled to do in the past.

I slowed down.
I spent time with my family in Italy.
I enjoyed slower mornings.

I gave myself permission to work at a different pace.

And you know what I realised?

A well-organised business doesn't just help you when you're busy.

It also gives you the confidence to slow down without feeling like everything will fall apart.

That's the kind of business I want for myself.

And it's the kind of business I want to help my clients build too.

Because success isn't about being switched on every minute of every day.
