Hello friends! 👋🏼 Let me introduce myself.

My name is Stephanie. I'm a wife & mama to three beautiful kiddos. 🤍

I recently left my corporate career as a Consultant for USDA's National Institute of Food and Agriculture as well as the Department of Homeland Security. The skills & knowledge I've gathered over the years are so invaluable but it was time for me to focus on my family & passions. ✨

This is when The Good Ground Co-Op was born. 📍

As an ingredient freak, chemical-free seeker, health podcast junkie, & organic guru, I just knew there had to be a way to create easier access to REAL FOOD. Not that lab grown, over processed junk we have in our corporate grocery stores today. 😡

The Good Ground is here to do just that. We partner with LOCAL farmers & small business owners to supply CLEAN & HEALTHY products to be ordered right from the comfort of your own home. Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and our local farmers are already hard at work preparing for one of the biggest food holidays of the year. 🦃🌾

From the farm to your Thanksgiving table, there is so much care, time, and hard work that goes into growing and raising the food we gather around each year.

This is Joe, one of our farmers, getting his turkeys ready for the season, and a little reminder that when you choose local you’re supporting a real farmer, a real family, and the land they work so hard to care for. 🤎

We’re so grateful for all of the farmers and small businesses who make it possible to bring good, local food to our community.

Dinner doesn’t have to be complicated to be GOOD. 🤎

This quick + kid-friendly meal started with our local farmers ground turkey from The Good Ground, plus a few easy, convenient ingredients.

Would I normally chop everything fresh? Yep. 😂 But sometimes busy nights call for convenience and that’s okay!

You can still put a wholesome, local meal on the table without making everything from scratch. 🌱

👇 Ingredients below!

•1 lb ground turkey
•2 cups shredded cabbage
•1/2 cup shredded carrots
•1 tbsp soy sauce (or coco aminos)
•1 tsp sesame oil
•1 cute little helper

*Add fresh ginger for extra flavor & digestion support 🫚

The Good Ground is all about connecting our community with good, local food. Stephanie thoughtfully gathers products from local farmers, growers & makers, making it easier to know where your food comes from and support the people behind it!

Weezie’s will now be a pickup spot for Good Ground customers on Thursdays && you may even start seeing some of the local goodies she sources incorporated into our own Weezie’s dishes!!🥬🍅✨

Our new Midtown home near the mall is officially open! 🌿💚

If you've been wondering where to pick up your orders, this reel will show you exactly how to find us in our new spot! We're now located inside Weezie's Colorful Kitchen at 4107 Oleander Dr., Unit J. (Directly across the road from Dragonflies)!✨

(Don't worry, we still have a pick up option in Ogden as well as delivery all over the Wilmington area!)

The space makes it even easier to pick up your fresh, local groceries while supporting the incredible farmers and small businesses in our community. 🥕

Thank you to everyone who made our very first pick up day so special. We can't wait to welcome even more of you here every other Thursday!
