Some highlights from the BFFxSL launch on 04 Sep @shelflifestore

Massive love to @tmssoundsystems for delivering a next-level experience on the night. Not only have they redefined what it means to listen, but they’ve also cemented South Africa’s sound system culture on the global map. Don’t sleep on their journey ➟ it’s only getting louder!

To the incredible artists who blessed the space with their sounds: thank you for channelling the spirit of the BORN FROM FILTH incantation. Your energy, presence, and artistry brought the vision to life in ways words can’t touch.

And lastly, deep gratitude to @shelflifestore for welcoming us into your unreal space. The vibes, the warmth, the community. You made us feel at home. We’re forever grateful. 🫶

Almost a year since we had the opportunity to take over @shelflifestore Cape Town, with A Visual Incantation by myself & @polizei193.qst.eds

Looking back through the debris of unused forms, discarded directions, strange little accidents.

Not everything survived the process. some got buried. So here's a little bit of the remains.

A small excavation of the used, unused ans unfinished concepts that helped shape the show.

Includes material from the rollout collateral, capsual graphics and pieces from the gallery.
