Three more weeks and Outside Mullingar closes. John Patrick Shanley's play about love, land, and the things we take too long to say runs through October 25 -- and there are still seats for the final stretch. Come before it's gone. (Plus, you get to see Kitty Swink and Liza Seneca play mother and daughter.)🎭#OutsideMullingar #SmallStageBigWorld #SierraMadrePlayhouse by @the6thact

There's a farm, a fence, and two people who've been circling each other for years. John Patrick Shanley's Outside Mullingar -- from the playwright behind Doubt and Moonstruck -- just opened. Funny, heartbreaking, and 99 seats away. Evenings still have seats. Tickets at the link.

There are some stories you’re lucky enough to tell once. And then there are the stories that find their way back to you.

I’m so grateful to be returning to Outside Mullingar for another journey—this time in beautiful Sierra Madre, at the base of Mt. Wilson.

It’s a beautiful, funny, heartbreaking story about love, family, home, and the courage it sometimes takes to let ourselves be loved written by John Patrick Shanley.

Just 16 performances, opening Friday, October 2nd!

If you’ve seen us before, come back and experience it with us again. If you haven’t, we’d love to welcome you.

Come spend an evening with us in Sierra Madre. I’d love to have you there. @sierra.madre.playhouse @the6thact @johnp.shanley @lizadseneca @kittyswink @arminshimerman #outsidemullingar #johnoatrickshanley #sierramadre #latheatre taken in Sierra Madre Playhouse by @the6thact

A farm on the Irish border. Two neighbors. A lifetime of words left unsaid. John Patrick Shanley's Outside Mullingar comes to Sierra Madre Playhouse in less than two weeks -- and in a 99-seat room, every pause lands like a stone. Funny, sharp, and full of longing. (Just ask actress Kitty Swink, who plays Aoife). Four weekends starting October 2. Pick your night early. #SmallStageBigWorld #OutsideMullingar #SierraMadrePlayhouse by @the6thact

People keep asking us what Outside Mullingar is about. It's about a man and a woman who live on neighboring farms in Ireland. It's about stubbornness and family and the things we don't say for decades. It's about 99 minutes that will make you laugh and then quietly break your heart. Still available: multiple dates, all in an intimate 99-seat room. #SmallStageBigWorld #SierraMadrePlayhouse by @the6thact
