Just two guys, a mini van, and hundreds of pounds of iron…

Introducing the newest printing press in our studio, a 1968 Vandercook SP-15! This press has travelled the world, from its birthplace in Chicago to South Africa, Switzerland, New York and now East Tennessee! We can’t wait to start using it! Thank you to my husband for always helping us with heavy lifting in our studio and thank you so much @the__arm for bringing us our first cylinder press all of those years ago and now bringing us our sixth press! #letterpressprinting #letterpresslove #letterpressstudio #stationer #letterpressed #printingpress #vandercook #weddinginvitations #weddinginvites taken in Knoxville, Tennessee by @the__arm

🔥EVENT ALERT🔥

Hands-on-Workshop: Print a Poster at The Arm

Get your hands inky and print your own bold, wood type poster at The Arm!

Ever wanted to roll ink and pull prints like a pro? Now’s your chance. Join us for a hands-on letterpress workshop at The Arm and create your own edition of wood type posters using their 1960's Vandercook cylinder presses and extensive collection of antique wood type.

You’ll start with a selection of block-printed color gradient backgrounds and flats, then set your type and print up to 20 sheets of your own design. Each participant will leave with a stack of finished, wrapped 12x18 inch prints—ready to gift, frame, or swap.

_No prior printing experience needed—just bring your ideas.

_Group size is limited to ten, so you’ll get plenty of press time.

_Keep it short & bold—we recommend around a dozen words for the best results.

This is a rare opportunity to work with expert printers in a collaborative, creative space. Don’t miss out!

Join us and get your hands inky!
