It’s no secret that I’ve been obsessed with Georgian wine since 2010. Every trip back, I find new wineries or visit old friends and get to see them grow. This July, I got to do both, and my friends @liberateantonio and @reed.mp4 were there to catch some of our visit to @baias_wine.

While we’re closed for dinner on the Fourth of July, you can still find a little piece of Maydan at @the__sook inside @maydanmarket (open until 4 PM on Saturday) ✨

Stop by for lunch and have the mini Maydan menu, including kebabs, dips, salads and some of our favorite wines from the Maydan wine list. We recently hosted a slightly belated welcome-to-the-world party for @the__sook inside @maydanmarket. 🌍💫

Sook is our little wine bar, bottle shop, MENA makers market, and the place where you can enjoy selections from @maydan_la’s menu while sitting in the market.

There is a lot going on in a small space, but she is my favorite little corner of the market. Having the space filled with such beautiful people was truly a gift. It took a little longer to bring this space together because all the other exciting parts of Maydan Market needed attention first. But now that our wine bar is up and running, we felt a celebration was in order. 🎉

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. It was such a joy to see the space filled with so many friends, old and new.🙏
