A night that meant so much more than just a game.

On September 22, CB West and CB East came together for a Mental Health Awareness Game through my organization Project Mental Health Matters — a night dedicated to reminding every person in our community that they are seen, heard, valued, and never alone.

Starting PMHM at 16, I never imagined it would grow into something that could bring students, athletes, coaches, families, and our community together for a cause this important. I’m so grateful to everyone who wore the shirts, showed up, supported the mission, shared the message, and helped make this night possible.

Mental health deserves to be talked about. Checking on someone matters. Kindness matters. And sometimes, one conversation can mean more than we realize.

Thank you to everyone who helped turn an idea into a movement. This is only the beginning. 💚

I’ve been working on something that is very close to my heart. 💚

I’m so proud to officially share that I founded Project Mental Health Matters a youth-led initiative created to raise awareness about mental health, encourage people to speak up, and remind others that they never have to feel alone.

I started PMHM after seeing the impact that mental health struggles and suicide can have on people in our own community including myself. It made me realize that awareness can’t just be something we talk about, we have to create a community where checking in, asking for help, and supporting one another feels normal.

What started as an idea has grown into something I’m incredibly passionate about. From creating these shirts to working with students, schools, and our community, my goal is to keep spreading the message that mental health matters.

September is Suicide Prevention Month, making this month especially meaningful for the work we’re doing. And this is only the beginning. 💚

I’m so grateful to everyone who has supported me and believed in this mission. I’d like to give all glory to God, everything I’m able to do through Project Mental Health Matters is because God has given me the opportunity to use my voice for something bigger than myself.

Today was my guy’s day! 🤴🏻❤️

I have never known a person who pours so endlessly into not just me, but into everyone around him. Everything he does is so deeply rooted in truth, love, and of profound faith.

His spirit is warm, steady, comforting, and a light so bright ✨

He believes in people, expects the best from them and gives everything he has to help them become the healthiest, strongest versions of themselves. His leadership is intense, his standards are high, and his heart behind it all is enormous.

You are such a gift to me, to our family and friends, to your players and coaches, and to so, so many people whose lives are better simply because you are in them.

So Happy Birthday to my guy! 🎂✨
