Please join us in wishing @rockcognoscente the most amazing birthday ✨
She’s often behind the camera instead of in front of it lately, but her presence doesn’t go unnoticed. She’s one of the kindest people with strong ā€œmegā€ knees who can always drop it like it’s hot when the time calls. She’s also incredibly smart and can throw down in the kitchen.
Here’s hoping you have a birthday that’s just as amazing as you are šŸ™ŒšŸ¾āœØ

Month of Mud: Ohiopyle MTB Race!
✨
This event can be described as a cross country mountain bike time-trial down the mountain. Really great event and well run! Kudos Rob & Greta… I highly recommend others add this series to their activity schedule for 2026!
✨
My teammate and I did this course sight unseen. I DO NOT recommend that approach šŸ˜†!
5 women were in my field, the Women’s Sport, and I got 5th and last place. Honestly I wasn’t mad at that because I was only 2 minutes and some seconds off of 1st place which I wasn’t expecting considering my lack of preparation and skill.
The most difficult section being the big rock garden at the top of this 9 mile course. I also realized that I gave up a lot of time by slowing to much allowing others to pass and I overdressed but with 20-30 degree temperature changes from morning to afternoon that’s hard! Oh well, lessons learned.
Fun event, great course, excellent vibes, & I didn’t get hurt ✨

My first CX race in like two years and, as expected, it didn’t disappoint. Good times out with the L’Equipier squad at DARKCROSS 2025. One of the most fun courses ever with the best (though, very un-cyclocross) weather.

Looking forward to more fun suffering this season!

The Chain Link group ride is made of diamonds because we’re pressure.

Pressure that doesn’t minimize — like atoms coming together to create molecules (community).

We flow through our system like macrophages, inspiring health, wealth, and growth — devouring doubt and visual norms.

Our ā€œhappy we chooseā€ emits so far, it blankets us.

Our link is fortified in love, in oneness, and the freedom to express ourselves.

The energy we send through our bikes into the Earth returns to us — a reminder that balance is born from connection.

Fun times at @monthofmud : Brady’s Run!
✨
I finally got a little less busy to finally do a race in this mountain bike series that’s been a staple for several years in the western Pennsylvania region for many years.

I participated in the ladies sport category that featured 3 laps of the course which was approximately 13.5 miles in total. We a had a small but mighty field of 3. It rained quit a bit before our race and I slacked off on my warmup, opting to use the first bit of the initial lap to warmup and still be dry. My lowkey approach allowed me to do my pace and try features without feeling the pressure of messing up a rider behind for the first lap. Second lap I dedicated to clearing the features, going faster and catching the 2nd place rider. During the final lap I focused on maintaining good time and seeing what I could claw back on the first place rider. I never caught up with the first place rider, she definitely crushed it.

This was a technical (roots and jumps) somewhat fast course. I was stoked to overcome many features as the laps progressed and content with my solid effort.

It’s such a well run event and I encourage everyone to give one or all the race series a go! taken in Brady's Run Park by @the_blackfoxes

Pivot those plans! New at aquickbrownfox.com

Due to the government shutdown we opted out of visiting more national parks this trip! The rangers have asked that folks stay away due to understaffing since last time visitors were acting a fool, cutting down trees, vandalizing stuff, and leaving human waste all over. NASTY.

Regardless, we had a ton of fun in California and the tour of Gateway Park by @msjadesaid with the @fortyacreleague was definitely a highlight.

I connected with the Sun today,
and what can I say — it condoned my play.
Looking around at the lack of Chlorophyll,
the unveiling of pigments feels like truth peeling back its own layers.
I grow stronger knowing these colors have been here all along,
the slowing down simply reveals the burst —
a peak that’s universal, timeless, alive.

Stress plus rest equals growth.
And in those quiet pauses, those pigments show.
The thriving of life is knowing what covers you
and what lives within you.

I love you! taken in Minneapolis, Minnesota by @the_blackfoxes

Tavaā˜€ļøšŸ”ļø 14er descent with some absolute baddies in our backyard! Most exhausting ride ever, but my goodness, the best time. This was the exact reset I needed to get stoked about bikes again. Sometimes you just need a couple of baddies and a big mountain to pull you out of a funk.
