One year ago today I was able to visit Johnny Depp’s “Just a Bunch of Stuff” collection in New York. He has been such a huge inspiration to me throughout my entire life. Since preschool/ kindergarten, I was obsessed with his portrayal of the Mad Hatter, and since then he has become one of my biggest role models to this day.
.
To say that seeing his work in this exhibition was an amazing experience would be an absolute understatement. I was mesmerized just by getting up close to each piece, observing each brush stroke and pen mark, sitting on his furniture and touching his desk… it was truly out of this world.
.
Thank you so much to Johnny Depp for putting this exhibition together and giving artists a chance to experience your work in such a personal way 🙏
.
I really hope to get the opportunity to meet him one day!
