"The Would Be Goods, Railcard and The High Span." A brilliant gig at The Oast Community Centre, Rainham, Kent, last Saturday night. Here are some illustrations I created afterwards from photos I took on the night. No live sketching, so I could 100% enjoy listening to the great bands....Brill poster designed by @davidfrankum with many thanks to Careful Now Promotions🙂 #livebands #localgigs #theoastrainham #illustrations #sketchbookwork @darrylhartleyart @greensmithi @the_high_span @railcard_band @wouldbegoods @carefulnowpromotions by @the_high_span

Come and see "HURRAH! HERE COME... THE HIGH SPAN." At the Nucleus Arts summer exhibition in Chatham 31st July- 1st September. I've been following this brilliant local group for a couple of years now and have produced quite a few live sketches of them at gigs. This piece celebrates the band by surrounding them with Easter Eggs of some of their songs and placing them in a local setting. Can anyone guess where they are? (Sorry, no prizes😀) Anyway, come and see the show if you can and see The High Span play too (not in the gallery though 😁.) Preview 5-7pm 31st July @nucleusarts #localbands #medwaybands #artgallery #Illustration #summerexhibition @the_high_span Special credit to @wolfhowardartist for the reference photo of the band👍 by @the_high_span
