So I’m back through the portal now. I know I was gone for awhile, but the crazy thing is it only felt like a few weeks. Over here in Athens it was actually more like two years. I actually went back home. To Atlantis. You know, the ancient, highly technologically advanced empire. I went back to the time before well…you know.

Things were really bad and getting worse every day. Everything was really expensive. Regular people were turning on each other, creating scapegoats in arbitrary categories. Powerful people created rules that benefitted pretty much only them…they were sucking the life out of pretty much everything and everyone. And we were always at war.

What do you even do in a situation like that? I wrote some songs. I was lucky that I was able to come back through the portal and remember a bit this time (I don’t always have control over these things) so I performed these songs at Hendershot’s in Athens. It feels good to be home.

So here’s some songs from that time before the collapse. I’ll be sharing more over time. Stay tuned y’all 📻

I don’t deserve
Nothing from you
Or know about all this
Wanting me just because
But could you be
The man
That I’ve been dreaming of?

Artist: Milton Glaser? (Please correct me if I’m wrong)
