I don’t even have the words to describe how deeply this start and finish line means to me 🥹

I crossed the finish line of Ironman 70.3 Durban with a full heart, tired legs, and a medal that represents so much more than just swim, bike, run. It represents every doubt I overcame, every early morning, every late evening. It represents how I stepped out of my comfort zone, into the unknown, it represents possibilities to succeed in every goal we set for ourselves but most of all it represents the God that always keeps his word.

A seed was planted for me to try something new, I watered it and look at how it’s grown. I hope that through this journey I am able to remind you that YOU ARE CAPABLE OF DOING HARD THINGS!

A summary of my Comrades Marathon up run debut 🥈🔥✨

I overcame so much on this one knowing that God had equipped me. This Comrades Marathon is honestly to be cherished 💌🥺. As you can see, I smiled for most of the race- but there was a point where everything hurt and I was just pretending 🥲😂 but even with this, everything was just so beautiful.

The running community is so AMAZING!!! Thank you to everyone that supported me leading up to and on the day, you all really came through with the messages, VNs, screenshots… konke ☺️🫶🏾 ngiyabonga.

Round 2 🔥

Last year I gave this a go, and now we are back for another shot, except this time, I’m coming back to better my time 🤸🏾‍♀️

The second half of the year is still very much about running (another marathon is waiting for me 🫠🏃🏽‍♀️), but we’re also stepping outside of our comfort zone and tapping into a few other disciplines.

Because apparently running ALL the marathons and ultramarathons isn’t enough… 😂
