Hey everyone! 👋

We wanted to formally introduce ourselves on here, since we haven’t done so yet 💕

We are Hannah and Gavin Moyes! I (Hannah) have been decorating cakes since I was in the 8th grade, and have pulled Gavin into helping me with projects since we started dating in 2021! We got married on December 12, 2025, and have been working on getting The Wright Cake up and going ever since!

Gavin is now officially our baker, and I take his creations and decorate them! For a long time it was just me keeping the Wright Cake going, but doing this together is one of the best things ever!

We are so happy to be here and SO SO grateful for everyone who has loved, supported, and ordered from us! Thank you for helping us get to this point!! We love you all 🫶🫶

I have wanted to try doing a cake display like this for a very long time, and I am so grateful I was finally able to do it 🎉💕

We have been wanting to offer dessert tables to clients and thought of lots of different setups along the way, but we are SO HAPPY with how this one came out!!

For anyone wondering how these floating cakes work…

Think of this kinda like a funky cake stand. There’s a metal circle that is the same size as the bottom tier, that’s what the pole comes out of. We put this on the top of our bottom tier and cover it in frosting, so it blends in with the cake! Then at the top of that pole there’s another metal circle that holds up the top two tiers!

Finding creative ways to cover the pole is always an interesting challenge, but honestly so much fun 💕 by @the_wright_cake

This cake was made a little over a month ago, but I felt like it needed a spot on the feed 😍
