Right before 19 days of fasting…
Right before the first day of spring…
Right before the Bahá’í New Year.

There’s a pause.

A few days set aside for joy, generosity, and gathering.

The atmosphere was beyond anything I could’ve imagined — loud, coordinated, passionate… but at the same time, I felt so genuinely welcomed by the FC Tokyo supporters.

From the chants to the sea of blue and red, to the respect and warmth in the stands. this wasn’t just a game, it was a beautiful culture and a showcase that the unity and love of football is everywhere

Last nights’ Canadian Premier League final was a certified Canadian Heritage moment. Our guy @theaaronhooper was on hand to watch his beloved @atletiottawa win their first ever title in true Canadian fashion.

I noticed the ring on Jim’s finger, and something told me I had to ask about it before I left Greenland.

What I heard next was a beautiful little story about a symbol, a meaningful encounter, and a ring that has stayed with him for decades.

Sometimes the smallest things carry the most beautiful stories. ✨

Seekers Sound Radio 001 — an event crafted with love in the spirit of service; an invitation for artists to offer their gifts to the ABS youth community through a night of vibrant creativity and culture.

The seeds for this event were planted about a year ago during a weekly Kitáb-i-Aqdas study in Ottawa, where a question emerged: what if our spiritual and creative lives didn’t have to feel like separate worlds? What if we became protagonists of what we want to see?

On August 8, that question came to life – more than 500 of you showed up: lining up, performing, participating, connecting, and filling the space with an energy that made the night what it was.

What no photo could capture was the feeling in the space that evening — the love, appreciation, and overwhelming kindness that filled the room.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible; for showing up and making this dream a reality.

Turns out the sun just… doesn’t set here till late. 🇬🇱🌞

It was the first couple nights here we clocked that the sun just… wasn’t setting here in Nuuk Greenland like it did back home.

It was 12:15 and we had to go out.

a couple of us who can’t help ourselves grabbed cameras and went out. We went hunting for shots & watched as the light move across the harbour, the coloured houses, the hills behind town, the beauty of the mountains. It was past midnight and the light is still gold & some nights because of the beauty we wouldn’t get to bed till 3am (was worth it but felt it the next day)

Might never get an evening like that again, so we shoot it and stay up.

Right after the World Cup ended, we went for a walk and stumbled upon a pickup football match at 1am in Greenland with the locals and it was still golden hour. Here’s to the magical midnight sun up north and playing free anywhere you can find a pitch, no matter the time.

What a World Cup. 🇨🇦⚽️

I started supporting @canadasoccer at 11, back when it was something people laughed at, not something they did.

From the 8–1 in Honduras to missing World Cup after World Cup, there were years it felt like we’d never arrive.

Today wasn’t the result we wanted against an outstanding Morocco side. But Round of 16, at a home World Cup, five years ago almost no one believed that was possible.

@jessemarsch.15 and this team gave us something bigger than a result: belief. That we belong. That we can compete. That the next chapter can be even greater.

What makes this team special is that it reflects Canada itself — the diversity, the resilience, the hard work, the determination to keep striving for excellence.

This World Cup journey ends here, but wanting more is a good thing. It means expectations have changed.

I think about the 11-year-old falling in love with this team today. Unlike when I was growing up, they now have the @cplsoccer , Canadian stars across Europe, and a generation of supporters who’ve embraced this team like never before.

I Couldn’t make it to Houston, but I’ll never forget watching Canada at home in a World Cup. And Ottawa today: 20 thousand gathered to sing, cheer, and believe together. Result aside, that joy was unforgettable.

From 8-1 loss in San Pedro Sula to the Round of 16. From afterthought to a source of national pride. Beyond proud of this team, and even more excited for what’s next.

Support your national team. Support your local club. Support the growth of football in Canada.
