I’m just a weird creature doing weird creature stuff, and that’s enough. I could mess up and still belong. The second I dropped the act and let people actually see me… 😬 That’s when they finally wanted me around.

That’s what The Sacred Fool is. Two days where authentic relating meets clowning — where you set down the mask and let your inner fool come out to play.
If you’ve ever felt like you had to earn your place in the room… come find out what happens when you don’t.

August 15th and 16th, 10a to 3p. West LA, at Re/creation Cafe.
Come as you are. Welcome home, fool.

What an amazing roller coaster journey! 🙌 🎢
Thank you everyone who attended, supported, co-created and shared my Capstone Project: The Sacred Fool: Wisdom, Wonder & Authentic Relating (2-dDay Immersion).

I am so honored and blown away by how magical, connective, playful, deep and inspiring this experiment ended up being! 🧪 🥼 🤡 🤸‍♀️ We listened, laughed, learned, tried and failed, picked each other up, and tried again!

Who’s ready for more serious play?!
What are you are excited to try?
Let me know in the comments!

That final chord...🥲. Our conductor @raven.royce even had to dunk.

These were the final moments of our Take Me to Church pop-up choir (an event called the Big Sing). If you've been wanting to sing with beautiful folks on the West Coast, we'd love to see you at our next event 💙

We went to *Church* with this one! An incredible moment led by @raven.royce and @thezolab

Last night, one hundred strangers gathered in Los Angeles to sing a *challenging* arrangement of the @hozier powerhouse Take Me to Church. We worked hard and navigated tricky musical moments. We talked about what the song means to us: a yearning for a better world; the pain of devotion; a ravenous hunger. Ans we channeled all of that into this moment.

Thank you to everyone who showed up to our Big Sing. To @benemmerich.music for all the work on the music. To @raven.royce for conducting. To @ty.rex for piano. To @centerforyogala for offering their beautiful space. And to everyone who bears their heart and does this hungry work.

We have felt so blessed to be able to gather in community and sing. What started as a tiny meeting of friends early in the Summer has steadily bloomed into a growing collective of beautiful humans. No auditions, no pressure, just presence.

If you've been looking for a safe place to use your voice, come Harmonize with us! As our co-founder Brenton often shares: "Singing is not an activity, not an artform, but a birthright." by @thealchemyofservice
