So proud and blessed to work with such incredible, goal-driven women 🫶🏼

This weekend was so much fun. It was an absolutely stacked show yesterday with so many amazing competitors! After a 14 hour show day, here are my thoughts:

Last night our competition season came to a close. These two set a goal to compete together this year and we did just that. I’m so proud of them for persevering and showing up no matter the obstacles they faced during prep. As first time competitors, I was beyond proud of their commitment and determination to bring the best version of themselves to the stage. Now it’s time to reverse and have some fun in our first off season together.

Here are the stage shots from the Upstate Super Show, the 1st of 3 shows on my journey to earning my IFBB Pro card.

I'm proud of the work I put in to get to this show, and the work I'm putting in as I keep going down this road toward that pro card.

As a competitor, it wasn’t where I hoped I’d land. I’ve brought better packages before, and I believe the judges saw that too. The results reflected it. The main feedback was to come in tighter and drier, and I completely agree. That’s exactly what I’m doing as I get ready for my next show on October 3rd.

I’m grateful for Chris, the Upstate Super Show committee, and the NPC Carolinas league for putting together an amazing show. Everything ran smoothly, and they reminded me how much I’ve missed competing in the NPC. I can’t wait to fly out to Dallas and bring a better package to the next one.

I’m grateful for everyone who has supported me along the way and continues to cheer me on. Shout out to my coach @jermainegadsden_ for keeping me locked in as we continue working on this season.

You’re also looking at the new Mr. Spartanburg, which is kind of cool. I still took 1st in my class, and I’ll take 1st in my class again at the next one. But this time, we’re going for the overall. by @thebamncoalition

As we close in on her first OCB show, we’re pushing to bring our best. I am beyond proud of this girl and all of the work that has gone into the last year. It has been such a rewarding journey.

6 months and 43 lbs later..

Traveling for work a few times per month but we still managed to make undeniable progress. That is what prep is at its core: troubleshooting and problem solving.
