We had the best time today hosting a watch party for the annual Moving Forward: 2026 @furnishtogether conference!🏠

Our friends Zach and Will from @bedsforkids drove up to our High Point location from Charlotte, and we all enjoyed a full day of info sessions with fellow furniture banks from all over North America. It’s wonderful to be part of a coalition of like-minded organizations working together to end furniture poverty.❤

What’s Barnabas up to today? Well, It started early for Derrick and Dino, we can tell you that. It involved crossing state lines . . . and the end result is very exciting. We now have a dedicated High Point truck! This beautiful box truck will soon be seen all over High Point roadways, picking up and delivering furniture donations. It will also have a fun name. We’ll keep you posted on that.🚚

Thanks to the Tannenbaum-Sternberger Foundation, Greensboro Airport Rotary Club Foundation, Green Street Baptist Church and the wonderful individual donors who gave to our Truck Fund. We’re proud to be your local furniture bank. Thank you for helping us recycle furniture and restore lives. ❤ by @thebarnabasnetwork

July Partnership Spotlight!
A Bed and A Book is proud to partner with Barnabas Furniture Bank! Together, we will identify local families who need beds and other essential furniture to help turn their houses into homes.

Barnabas Furniture Bank shares our commitment to serving families who are transitioning from homelessness, fleeing violence, overcoming difficult circumstances, or living on incomes that do not meet their basic needs. Furniture donated by generous community members is refurbished and given to families in need.

We are grateful for this partnership and excited about the difference we can make together!

We’re PUMPED about this. You know how the Norwegian National Football team has been staying at @grandoverresortandspa these past few weeks, right?
Ok, the team purchased several couches from a local retailer to create a cozy, comfortable hub for their home away from home. So, when the team departed a few days ago, they requested that Grandover donate these couches to a local charity ... and that’s where we came in!

❤️Hospitality. Merriam-Webster’s Kids Definition is the one we like best: “The generous and friendly treatment of visitors and guests.”
Grandover has perfected it to an art form. Thank you, Grandover! Takk, Norges herrelandslag I fotball! 🇳🇴#herrelandslaget by @thebarnabasnetwork
