IT’S HERE! 🎉 🎬 💪

We’re THRILLED to release our region’s new promotional video showcasing the people, places, and industry that make up the tapestry of who we are.

How we think about ourselves and our own community is just as important as the perspective of those looking in — who live outside our county.

REMEMBER: You lead here, you lead the world. You create here, you create the world. You serve here, you serve the world. You change here, you change the world. 🌎 #thisiskerncounty #kerncountyforward taken in Kern County by @thebeaconstudios

Every child deserves a clean, healthy place to play, run, climb, and let their imagination soar. Last night, the City of Bakersfield adopted an update to its municipal code to make all 69 city parks smoke-free. This policy goes beyond state minimum requirements, making all areas of Bakersfield's parks including sidewalks, parking lots, and recreational fields smoke-free. This helps create cleaner, healthier spaces where families can play, gather, and enjoy the outdoors without exposure to secondhand smoke.

Congratulations to our Blue Zones Project Bakersfield Policy Team for helping make this happen! Here’s to more fresh air, more playtime, and more healthy moments! by @thebeaconstudios

🎬 Another fun day on set with Beacon Studios!

Today was all about promoting the incredible programs at Bakersfield College, and our amazing lead man, Echo, was definitely the highlight of the day! 🎥

It’s hard to believe we’ve had the honor of working alongside Beacon Studios for 10 years now. We’re incredibly grateful for the continued trust, the relationships we’ve built, and all the fun memories created on set over the years.

Check out some of our behind-the-scenes clips from today! 🎬✨

Thank you to everyone involved for another great production day. It is always an honor for The Beautiful Life Makeup & Hair Company to be selected as the hair and makeup team for some of Kern County’s biggest productions.
