A disruptive multi-venue dining destination in the heart of Byron Bay

On Friday, December 12th at 5:31pm, The Belongil opened its doors to its first guests. A feat that only few could initially understand the gravity of- the build was an 8-week race against time to construct a complicated series of venues- that should have taken 12 months. A dry-run first service ensued, welcoming friends and family to experience both @feu_belongil and @belongilbistro

This evening was nothing short of a miracle - with multiple final details coming together at the 11th hour, it made for all the more reward to see the enjoyment on guests’ faces.

Thank you to each and every person who took part in orchestrating this historic opening. To our fearless captain, @chefbennett23 , for insisting the impossible is always possible, and to all of our brilliant teams and collaborators for all their efforts, your legacy now lives on @thebelongil

Caught off the coast of Brisbane by Wayne James, our Pink Snapper is always local and line caught. It’s served with Café de Belongil butter, our signature curried butter sauce, and fried curry leaves.

Order it alongside our Green Salad and Spanner Crab Risotto for a full spread.
