Here’s some more photos I took of @adalitax while working on a video for The Repairer with @hadamadgrin and a talented makeup artist whose name has left me (sorry).

The weather was patchy, and we copped a fair sea breeze at times… but it was a good time, listening to the freaky new Neil Young album while hitting up some of Geelong’s finest attractions.

It was a pleasure and an honour to work on such a beautiful and personal song from Adalita’s debut album.
Did I mention that album’s getting a vinyl reissue, after 15 years‽
Probably.
Ad’s doing some shows to launch it too! Might see ya there? by @thebenbutcher

An estimated 35 billion teachers turned out in Naarm/Melbourne today in our campaign for a more fair and sustainable working conditions. Conditions that might actually attract people to the sector rather than the massive burnout we currently suffer from. @bencarrollmp and the @victorianlabor party needs to get real and do what they’ve always promised to fight for…. workers on the front line. by @thebenbutcher

Adalita after fronting one of my favourite bands, @magicdirtofficial recorded her debut solo album 15 years ago now! At that time I helped filmmaker and musician Adam Harding in making film clips for the singles from this spectacular album. While making the clip for The Repairer I shot a bunch of on-location photos on my film cameras. I should dig out some of the others, but here’s one I came across today that I’ve always liked. Thanks @hadamadgrin for getting me in to help, and thanks @adalitax for all the amazing music. It’s so great that this album has gotten a repressing!! by @thebenbutcher

Time to plan alternative arrangements for your school kids, and write a letter to your local member to play fair with teacher’s and educational staff working conditions. #victeachers @bencarrollmp by @thebenbutcher
