🖨🔜COMING TO A ELECTRONIC SCREEN NEAR YOU🔜🖨
The Blunt Space presents Defiance & Dialogue: The Bodily Autonomous Issue

This issue is for every person who’s ever had to fight for control over their own body, their intimate expression, and their narrative. In a world where governments and entities try to police and erase cultural connection, human expression and identity, we publish art that pushes against systemic silence.

From poetry and prose to visual art and performance — this is what autonomy looks like when it’s unfiltered, unafraid, and unapologetic.

Tap the link in our bio to witness the work our team curated on June 16th. Share it. Talk about it. Tag and engage with the artists who are putting their vulnerability and their message out for the public. This is where dismantlement happens. When we defy oppressive systems with artistic dialogue ✊🏾

Someone spending time to sit with your art and try to understand is such an ideal scenario as a creative person. Appreciate the editors @queeny_bihh @brook_likeastream @black_beauty325

An elegant human based design seems so uncommon these days. Shout out to @wincreates for the design of the cover for this fourth issue.

📢IT'S OPEN CALL SEASON📢
Our 4th issue of Defiance & Dialogue is among us and is open for artists to submit! Submissions are open from February 15th to April 30th!🙌🏾

We're looking for real experiences from the people, for the people, by the people. We don't want passive hope stories. We're not looking for performative revolution. We're seeking the voices that echo in throughout the streets as loud as they do in the work in their community. ✊🏾

For more information about our submission guidelines and to submit, check out our website at www.theblunt.space!
