The International Affairs Budget is one of the most effective tools for advancing global stability, economic opportunity, and U.S. leadership. Representing less than 1% of federal spending, it supports clean water, global health programs, hunger relief, and development initiatives that save lives and strengthen communities. Yet these investments remain under threat. Cuts don’t just reduce funding — they weaken global stability and long-term security. Now is the time to strengthen these efforts, not scale them back. Learn more and make your voice heard.

More than 250 million children are living in extreme poverty, facing risks to their health, development, and future opportunities. With 80% of brain development occurring between conception and age 3, investing in early childhood development is critical.

The Global Child Thrive Act was enacted in 2021 to strengthen early childhood development across U.S. foreign assistance, supporting children’s early learning, health, nutrition, and social-emotional development.

But the Act expired in 2025. Now, the Global Child Thrive Reauthorization Act (H.R. 6347) would extend it through 2030, helping sustain congressional support for these critical priorities.

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. Investing in early childhood development is an investment in healthier communities and a stronger future.

📣 Reauthorizing the Global Child Thrive Act is a step toward making global poverty a political priority.

Transforming lives and building a safer world doesn’t require a massive slice of the budget.

In fact, less than 1% of the U.S. Federal Budget is dedicated to global development and humanitarian aid; yet that tiny fraction achieves massive results. It saves lives, creates international stability, and maximizes global impact. When we fund global change, we invest in a better future for everyone.

TAKE ACTION: Don’t let life-saving aid get cut! Visit the link in our bio to send a 30-second email to your Congressional leaders asking them to protect the International Affairs Budget.

Less than 1% of the federal budget. A world of impact.

The International Affairs Budget supports programs that help prevent conflict, strengthen U.S. national security, expand economic opportunity, respond to humanitarian crises, and combat diseases around the world.

But the proposed FY2027 budget would cut international assistance by roughly 32%—putting critical programs and the communities that rely on them at risk.

These investments don’t just benefit people around the world. They advance U.S. interests by strengthening partnerships, supporting global markets, and helping create a safer and more stable world.

At a time of unprecedented global challenges, now is the time to protect—not cut—these critical investments.

Urge your members of Congress to protect the International Affairs Budget.

TB is preventable, treatable, and curable. So why are people still dying from it? The End TB Now Act matters because ending tuberculosis takes more than having the tools to treat it. It takes sustained investment, strong global health programs, and the political will to make ending TB a priority. TB disproportionately affects communities facing poverty and limited access to healthcare. When we invest in the fight against TB, we’re not only saving lives—we’re helping build healthier, more resilient communities around the world. 🌎
