THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU WHO CAME!! We've had an amazing night! Stay tuned, we'll share photos and videos soon!! It's time to thank everybody: Thank you to @teteateteopera ! All the team from Tête À Tête has been absolutely amazing in organising this wonderful festival, and we've had such a productive collaboration with @billbj @leodoulton Anna Gregg, and all the great people of the festival! Thank you to @cockpittheatre ! A huge thanks to the great work of the theatre, David Salter, the technical and lighting team and to all the people who work for this beautiful venue! Thank you @royalacademyofmusic and @drjesswalk for giving us the opportunity to do this project and really looking forward to further collaborations! Thank you to our amazing director @sophdane who has done such a brilliant work organising this super intense production weeks! And thank you to @haileywestsoprano our great stage manager who helped us in more ways than we could have hoped! A huge thank you to @hansludvigbaritone and @alice_martin_sings who so brilliantly stepped in for our shows! And, finally, thank you so much again to all of you who came to see us! THE BREAKING POINT #MEETTHETEAM SOPHIE DANEMAN - director Sophie studied singing at the Guildhall School of Music with Johanna Peters. Her international career as a soprano spans over 30 years in a wide range of repertoire.  Alongside her singing work, Sophie has also developed a career as a stage director.  Directing credits include Rameau, Maitre a Danser (Theatre de Caen, BAM Brooklyn, The Bolshoi Moscow and Seoul Arts Centre); Orfeo (Apollo's Fire, Cleveland), Acis and Galatea (Yong Siew Toh Conservatoire) and the Peninsula summer festival (Melbourne). Sophie has directed 6 editions of the prestigious Jardin des Voix Academy for Les Arts Florissants, the most recent being Mozart’s La Finta Giardiniera and Handel’s Partenope which toured extensively in Europe and North America.  She has directed 4 previous shows for Tete-a Tete; Fossills, Lies and Poison (2022) Looking Inward (2023), Rendezvous with Revenge (2024) and Peeled Back (2025) She has semi-staged Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas for various tours for Les Arts Florissants and  this September a staged version for the Prangins baroque festival Academy.  Sophie created Chasing Rainbows based on the songs of Julie Andrews with Lea Desandre and Ensemble Jupiter (Rouen Opera, Opera Comique, Bozar and La Cité Bleue, Geneva) and Our Mother, a re-imagining of Stabat Mater (Figure Ensemble) at Stone Nest. She also created a show based around English song for the Wallonie festival this summer.  Sophie was Associate director to Antony Mcdonald for The Rake’sProgress (Grange Festival) and Albert Herring (ENO). Sophie is a member of staff at the Royal Academy of Music, London. Sophie directed all the operas! Part of Tête À Tête: The Opera Festival 2026 Tonight 7 PM! THE BREAKING POINT #MEETTHETEAM LILLIAN NOBLE - soprano English soprano Lillian Noble is currently studying for her MA at The Royal Academy of Music with Susan Waters and Chad Vindin. Recent roles include Wally (La Wally), Patience (Patience), and Fairy Queen (Iolanthe). She is also a keen director, recently directing Trial By Jury for RAM’s Students Create Festival 2026 and will be joining the National Opera Studio as an assistant director for their 26/27 season. THE BREAKING POINT #MEETTHETEAM TEYFIK KAMAL - baritone Teyfik Kamal is a Turkish-British baritone and a recent graduate of the Royal Academy of Music. Recent highlights include: Colline in La Bohème with New Aquarian Opera; Masetto in Don Giovanni with North Wales Opera Studio; and performing with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra as part of the Philharmonia Chorus at the Royal Albert Hall for 'Lord of the Rings in Concert' and 'Video Games in Concert' with the Cantus Ensemble. He has recently worked in masterclasses with renowned singers Will Liverman, Nicky Spence and Sir Thomas Allen. Competition successes include winning the Elizabeth Hampshire Singer Under 22 Years Award (2023) and first place at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod Vocal Solo 16-19 class (2022). Teyfik acted his role in BROKEN IVY performed at The @cockpittheatre on rhe 19th of September.
