Dear Bridge Community,

We’re excited to share an update on The Bridge 2025 and beyond! Over the years, this program has built an incredible community, transforming the lives of young creatives. Your support has been invaluable, and together, we’ve created something truly special.

However, as the nonprofit landscape shifts, sustaining our original program is no longer financially viable—even with the generous support of partners like ASMP, Sony, the Freelancers Union, Capture One, and MPB. Rather than seeing this as a setback, we embraced the opportunity to reimagine The Bridge in a way that is sustainable and scalable in both NY and LA while staying true to our mission.

What’s Coming Next:

📅 Public Monthly Events – Led by The Bridge community (our former students and mentors), these gatherings will educate, inspire, and connect young photographers.

🤝 New Mentorship Framework – Launching Q3/Q4, this program will pair aspiring photographers with industry professionals, offering skills, access, and community. Established photographers will have the chance to shape the future of the industry.

How You Can Get Involved:

📣 Host an Event – If you’d like to lead a workshop or discussion, let us know!

📷 Become a Mentor – Support emerging talent and give back to the community.

Alex M. Lopez: Channel Manager at Capture One and specialist in RAW workflows since 2017. Alex has taught Capture One at multiple photography schools, has trained the trainers, and designed digital workflows for all kinds of photographers and professional studios.

6:30 PM – Guest arrival, welcome drinks, and snacks
7:00–8:30 PM – Portrait-focused shoot and Capture One workflow demo presented by Alex Perez
8:30–10:00 PM – Networking, drinks, and light food
