My new album, Life in 3D, is out now!

More than music, these original songs offer a glimpse into my personal journal from 2022 to 2025. I’m grateful to have this little album as a time capsule of the people I loved and the love that filled those years ❤️

One time I auditioned for this show and after doing the scene the director said, “great, but can you try it again with the accent?”

And I said “sure, exactly what accent is that supposed to be again?”

And he just shrugged 🤷🏼‍♂️ so I left.

I’ve recently been amazed at the number of my own friends who don’t “understand” jazz music. Whatever that means. Probably it’s better felt than understood, but here are some basics to get you going!

Suggested Jazz Albums:
RELAXIN’ WITH THE MILES DAVIS QUINTET
PRES AND TEDDY
COLTRANE’S SOUND
THE QUINTET: JAZZ AT MASSEY HALL

The example in the video is a transcription of Wynton Kelly playing “Gone with the Wind”

A few nights ago, the Lord filled the pews of my hometown church with more people than I’d ever seen there before. I praise God for working through me, giving me the words and notes to offer. Indeed, I pray that by staying in the word, my ego does not mistake these gifts as entitlement 🙏

James 1:17 Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.
