If you've been holding off on ordering a backyard cabin from The Bunkie Co. due to the recent US tariffs on Canadian imports, you can officially breathe a sigh of relief.

Our Canadian made goods are protected under the USMCA, no duties or taxes apply to our products.

This means you can confidently order a new home office or guest studio from your northern neighbors and have it shipped directly to your American backyard without any surprises.

When we received this picture last week, it really struck a chord. Two guys out on an island, in the middle of nowhere, building something truly special.

The DIY (with some help 😉 ) spirit is alive and well in Pointe au Baril. This Monarch 2 glass wall unit is a sophisticated cabin by the shore, on some rocks, between the trees and up out of the way. It will be stunning!

Everything you need to realize your glass cabin vision is delivered straight to your property, ready to assemble.

Canadian through and through.

When we started this business, our goal was to make everything locally. While a few components can no longer be fabricated in-country, the vast majority of our materials and processes are proudly #MadeInCanada 🍁

Here are some of the fantastic suppliers we've trusted for well over a decade. Reflecting on these partnerships made us realize something remarkable: we haven't raised our pricing in 3 years, even when many companies have. This is the true power of a strong, local supply chain. By CNC machining the building envelope and designing multifunctional parts, we drastically simplify the fabrication process and pass those efficiencies on to you.

A special thank you to our partners for years of support. We couldn't do it without them! 🏆️

Would you trade the concrete jungle for the forest floor? 🌳

If you could pack up your laptop right now and exchange fluorescent lights for rustling trees and fresh air, would you do it?

You weren't meant to spend your best hours inside a concrete box. If you're feeling burnt out, uninspired, or craving a change of scenery, this is your sign to breathe life back into your workday.

What does your dream workspace look like? Let's chat in the comments or drop us a DM! 💬 👇️

Invest in your rest.🔋

Sometimes, a little escape into nature is exactly what you need to recharge your batteries. Even if it's just the corner of your hedged in backyard 😊

Imagine having a dedicated space just steps from your back door where you can unplug, read, meditate, or simply listen to the rain. Building a backyard Bunkie isn't just about adding extra square footage (although sometimes it is), it's about creating a personal sanctuary for your peace of mind.

Ready to bring your sanctuary to life?

If scratch-n-sniff screens were a thing... this picture would smell incredible! 🍂

Fall is hands down the best season, IMHO! And experiencing the full sensory explosion of it at your Bunkie is completely unmatched. Bring me my cozy socks and a hot cuppa! 👏 ☕
