🔥The Fire Goddess🔥 My latest mural painted in Portland, Maine! This is the largest portrait I have ever created and I will definitely be doing more murals like this in the future. She was extremely challenging, fun, intimidating and exciting to paint, and I am very happy with the way she turned out. Summer isn’t over, and neither is the painting season; on to the next one. Thank you for looking.
•
She measures 14’ wide by 16’ tall and was painted using KOBRA premium low pressure spray paints on top of a base coat of black, exterior, satin primer. @kobrapaint @kobrapaintusa
•
If you would like to check her out in person she is located on the side of the building at 91 Cove Street, right next to Cove Street Arts @covestreetarts in the heart of the East Bayside, in Portland, Maine.
•
*Interested in a mural like this (or something totally different) for your interior or exterior wall? All you have to do is send me an email with some photos of the wall along with the dimensions and I can put together a quote for your custom mural project! Jared.Goulette@gmail.com

My piece from the first ever Art Park Festival @artparkfestival at Homegrown Acres in Winthrop, Maine! This event was so much fun to be part of; there were a ton of incredibly talented artist painting LIVE, great food, kind/vibrant souls, a huge selection of musicians, vendors, activists and more.
•
Her name is Andromeda and she was inspired by TRON, my love of sci-fi, fantasy art and my passion for painting chrome and neon effects with spray paint.
•
A sincere THANK YOU to @dubbaaaaaa and @scallywag.ae and everyone involved in making this festival happen!! It was an amazing experience and I am very much looking forward to being part of it again next year. I’m honored to have been invited and am very grateful for the opportunity and support.

The final side of the building over at the Gerald E. Talbot Community School in Portland, Maine features a mural of a vibrant Eastern Newt. I have fond memories of looking for these little creatures while out on hikes as a kid growing up in Vermont and still find them to be an exciting and fascinating treasure to discover out in the wild. They are so colorful and look very tropical; it is hard to believe they are native to Maine and New England. This project was a ton of fun and very gratifying, I can’t thank the @portlandmeprf for the opportunity and trust with creating these murals.

Mural #3 of native Maine wildlife, for the Talbot Community School in Portland, Maine. This painted turtle was a ton of fun to paint; lots of small details, strong highlights, depth and plenty of color. The kids really like this one, they have had lots of nice things to say about the artwork and seem to love these new murals. Painted using KOBRA spray paints! Thank you to @portlandmeprf for the trust and opportunity. #thecolorwizard#kobraspraypaint#maine#mural taken in Gerald E. Talbot Community School by @thecolorwizard

Mural #2 for the Talbot Community School features a vibrant Eastern tiger swallow tail butterfly! These beautiful creatures are native to Maine and are full of detail, colors and intricate patterns. My favorite part of these insects are definitely the shades of blue against the black along the tail section. Painted using @kobrapaint @kobrapaintusa as always!

Thank you to @portlandmeprf for setting me up with this awesome project over at the Talbot Community School on the outskirts of Portland, Maine. This is the first of all four sides of this building painted with a “Maine wildlife” theme; photos and videos of the rest of this project coming up, thanks for looking.
•
This mural was painted using @kobrapaint @kobrapaintusa low pressure spray paints. The pigment is vibrant, the paint covers extremely well and there are a huge array of colors and versatile caps to choose from on their website. If you’ve never used their paint I’d highly recommend you check them out and give it a try!

🔥Process shots from the new mural I just finished painting as part of the 2026 Maine Mural Festival walls in Portland, Maine. This piece was painted using the one and only KOBRA @kobrapaintusa @kobrapaint low pressure spray paints. The Fire Goddess stands 16 feet tall, 14 feet wide and includes a huge array of colors, different textures and my favorite part; a bright, warm orange glow that bounces off her face. If you want to see this mural (and all the other incredible artworks painted during this year’s festival) you can see it along the Bayside Trail in the East Bayside, as well as on the side of the building at 91 Cove Street.🔥#thecolorwizard #mural #kobraspraypaint #portlandmaine #publicart taken in Bayside, Portland, Maine by @thecolorwizard

My BIGGEST project this year has been this awesome wall I finished up recently for the one and only CARHARTT @carhartt at their location at the Maine Mall in South Portland @cityofsouthportland , Maine! They provided the design and I made it happen on this brick wall that spans 17 feet tall by 66 feet long. It was a pleasure and an honor to work with them and create this giant piece for everyone to enjoy as they make their way into the store. It is vibrant, colorful, bold and pays homage to their roots and beginning in Detroit, Michigan in 1889.
•
I used a wide array of premium spray paints for this mural as well as exterior primer for the base coat and black boarded, and finished the whole thing off with multiple coats of mural-grade clear coat.
•
THANK YOU to the Carhartt team and everyone involved in making this project happen. It was so much fun to work with this company and bring this cool design to life on such a large scale and on the side of their store. If you want to check it out in person you can do so by visiting the Carhartt store in South Portland, Maine at the mall. It is very easily visible from the parking lot!

I had the honor of painting live at the Union Fair & Maine’s Wild Blueberry Festival @unionfairme for the second year in a row this summer, and was asked to paint a recreation of the iconic Blueberries For Sal book cover. I enjoyed myself immensely and received a ton of positive feedback while I was painting this mural. I huge THANK YOU to Rick and the Union Fair staff for their work putting this event together and the opportunity to come back again and paint another mural for everyone to enjoy.
•
This mural measures 8’ tall x 12’ long as was paint over the course of the final 2 days of the festival using KOBRA spray paints @kobrapaintusa @kobrapaint , brushes and exterior primer. The two XL stickers on the right side of the mural were printed on vinyl and I applied them to the mural after the painting was completed. This mural will be on permanent display inside one of the vendor barns on the fairgrounds property.

My piece from the Friday Art Walk in Lewiston, Maine. Thank you to Gerald from @lewistonauburnarts for the opportunity! I had a great time and really enjoyed chatting with people, answering questions and creating this mural for L/A Arts and the community to enjoy.
•
This mural measures 4’ tall by 8’ long and was painted in 4 hours using KOBRA premium low pressure spray paints. I started with a doodle grid and then worked from the background into the foreground, painting the out-of-focus areas first, then the clown fish, and finishing with some details and added texture using a brush.
•
I appreciate all the kind words, support and curiosity from the community, it was a great experience and I look forward to being part of the L/A Friday art walks again soon! Thanks for looking.
