Can’t put into words what last night meant to me. What an incredible night and I can’t thank everyone enough for their kind words.

To @shaba_awards, thank you for this amazing honor. To @kyle.lj.ross and @sovereigngrooming, this wouldn’t have been possible without your guidance over this first year in the industry. To all my colleagues, I have so much love for you all for helping me get to this point. Family and friends, you have seen me through from the very start, you’ve kept me level headed and on track for this moment.

We’re pleased to welcome 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐦 to the team, starting Saturday 7th February.

Adam will be working with us on Saturdays.

With over 2 years’ experience, Adam has worked in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, cut hair at London Fashion Week, and was awarded Best Apprentice Barber at the 2024 Scottish Hair & Beauty Awards. He was also a finalist for Best Male Stylist 2025.

✨ @barberevo ONE TO WATCH - Issue 52 ✨

Another career highlight in the bag. Incredibly honoured to be featured in the latest issue of BarberEVO as their one to watch. After two years in the barbering industry I have achieved more than I imagined. Being crowned Best Apprentice Barber at the 2024 @shaba_awards, cutting at London Fashion Week and working for titans in this industry is hard to put into words.

One 2 Watch, to me, is a combination of personal achievement but also those who have helped you get there. I’d like to thank @sovereigngrooming for getting my start as a barber, @shaba_awards for their constant support but most importantly @ragandbonebarbershop.

Joining your team of not only insanely talented lads but genuine amazing boys has been the cherry on top of this journey. You have finessed my skills and let me join not a team but a family. Rob, Jamie and all the boys, this is for all of us.

I also hope the content of my article is enough to inspire the next gen of barbers. My DMs are always open for advice.

To all my peers I’ve met along they way throughout the country. Thank you 🖤

Excited to share my entry for Best Male Stylist at SHABA 2025. Absolute massive congrats to @jayhanlinhair on taking home the win. Thoroughly deserved.

@ragandbonebarbershop. What a night and what a team. When I joined you a year ago I don’t think I fully grasped just how much of a family it is and last night, regardless of coming home empty handed, proved it. 4 times finalists!

@thebaskinbarber. Ride or die since day 1 mate and your talent is next level. Immensely proud of you.

@kye.stewartbarbering. Your work speaks for itself mate and your entry showed you’re a winner to all of us.

Another wee throwback from the early days.

The mullet continues to be a massive trend and I can honestly say it’s become my favourite haircut to do in whatever variation my clients need.
