PART 03// THE SIGNAL TRANSMISSION
001: SIGNAL ACQUIRED.
This is where the story starts.
Two artists.
Two completely different visual languages.
One idea that probably shouldn’t work as well as it does.
Kenneth James × Lee Valentine
VISUAL NOISE is less about us “matching” and more about what happens when we don’t.
The tension.
The contrast.
The interruption.
The trust.
And underneath all of that, the question that started this whole thing:
What are we carrying that nobody can see?
This is part one.
Don’t get comfortable.

VISUAL NOISE: What We Carry
Beneath the Surface
Its Official I’m thrilled to share that Lee Valentine and I will present Visual Noise, a visual art collaboration rooted in the experiences we often carry quietly: identity, mental health, grief, masculinity, and the emotions that live beneath the surface.
Join us for an evening of art, music, and meaningful conversation. Through our distinct artistic voices, we’re creating a space to pause, reflect, and connect-to the work, to one another, and perhaps to parts ot your own story.
Hosted by @Dezzae_music

Come as you are, bring someone you care about, and spend the evening exploring the stories, emotions, and truths woven into the work. We’d love to share this experience with you and welcome you into the conversation.
I hope to see you there!

Show 71 | Fall Expressions | 9.29.26

Honestly, I haven’t been to this open mic in a WHILE! I just checked the previous reels, last time I was invited the poet/host @rob.ace.holmes it was back in February! Almost 70 shows later, and I’ve finally returned 😁

Side note: THEY CHANGED LOCATIONS! If you want to attend their next open mic, it’s every LAST TUESDAY at @thee_studio_va

The goal is to do 100 shows by the end of the year

This makes 71/100🎤
