ICYMI:🚍 Changes are coming to Colorado Boulevard.

Before construction begins in October on the North Hollywood–Pasadena bus rapid transit line, Eagle Rock neighbors are asking for help with traffic and parking.

Their requests include:

🔸 Traffic-calming measures on residential streets
🔸 Longer parking-meter limits
🔸 Suspending street sweeping south of Colorado

Some measures remain under discussion, but the city says there are no plans to suspend street sweeping.

Meet Gramps and Wally: Eastsider Pets of the Week

Gramps is a 8-year-old neutered male weighing 43 lbs. Gramps is a gentle boy who walks nicely on a leash, enjoys being pet, has a mellow and calm demeanor, and prefers hanging out with people over dogs.

Wally is a 1-year-old neutered male weighing 55 lbs. Wally is a friendly boy who is a little shy when you first meet him, but once he warms up, he enjoys playing and hanging out with staff and volunteers!

Both are available to adopt from the North Central Animal Center in Lincoln Heights.
